So yeah, don't spend yer 35 min. doin' the dishes; kicked is still a thing. What fun. Wait, what if I DON"T do the damned dishes... never thought of that! Killed two stones with one boid. YAY!

Maybe log off when you know you're going to be away for awhile? Most games idle kick you after 10 minutes. 30 minutes is crazy generous.

I guess because its usually only on during the .0 patch and then gets turned off again. I understand why its not this time around but can't blame people for thinking it would be as usual.

I swear I remember reading that the auto-logout and instances were going away in 6.1

But all I can find is an interview where Yoshi-P says they are going to wait and see how the congestion is at 6.1 and remove them as soon as possible

It was said it was being looked into for 6.1, never promised. The patch notes don't mention it, so it was not removed.

I took like 12-ish minutes to make brunch and got kicked. Just now.

I do believe afk timeouts are going away with 6.11.

This is honestly a non-issue. Theres no real login queues anymore... you get kicked to the login screen...

Just log back into your character, wait what, a minute at most for your login queue, and then boom you're back in the game.

If we still had 45 minute queues like in Endwalker launch, sure. But... I dont see why people are still upset about this. Just log back in.

I would be lying if I didn't wish to see the resident afk'ers sitting around in places. It has been kind of dead recently in places. Probably many relaxing in Radz-at-Han, but gosh it can feel lonely. I was in Limsa I know it was early but even at 5am that place was usually jumping.
