These level 90 abilities feel like garbage to use.

SGE: Pneuma, a 600 potency AOE heal and a 300 potency AOE damage spell on a 120s cooldown. Barely more healing than Ixochole for 3x the cooldown, and next-to-irrelevant damage even on trash packs. As a damage spell, the cooldown is way too long for it to matter at all, and you will never use it as a damage spell. As a healing spell, the only reason I can think to use it is if you somehow blew your entire Addersgall load, or if the DPS is too brain-dead to get out of AOEs.

AST: Macrocosmos, a 200+ potency AOE heal and a 250 potency AOE damage spell on a 180s cooldown. Heals more based on damage taken during uptime, but in that time you could just... use one of your other panic buttons or just cast Helios twice. Even more irrelevant damage. If you're in a Full Party, you can guarantee your co-healer will already have everyone topped off by the time you even think about casting Microcosmos.

WHM: Liturgy of the Bell, up to 2000 potency of healing in a designated area, based on you, the healer, taking damage. On a 180s cooldown. So... stand in the fire to heal people every three minutes. Does this really need to be a thing? Did we really need a spell dedicated to phase transition AOEs?

I'm happy that SCH got the good one, since SCH has been needing a bone thrown to them for a while now. But did the other three healers need more irrelevant garbage on top of their already irrelevant garbage?

I would be happy if someone could convince me otherwise; that these spells have a reason to be on my bars. If you do, I'll eat my laurel circlet.

You’d be surprised how potent Pneuma is when you buff it. That extra 50% makes it a literal burst heal that can heal 50% of HP or more on Crit.

With Macrocosmos, it’s pretty broke atm. Basically negates big raid-wide damage when buffed, and the extra 200 is just icing on the cake.

Liturgy of the Bell on the other hand needs some work - related to taking damage to heal.

SCH didn’t really get much this expac, so it feels same-y except for going ZOOM for the party with a 10%. Good for prog, at least.

This is bait right? Macrocosmos literally invalidates one of the biggest roadblocks for p3s (life's agonies)

Meanwhile Pneuma can be consistently popped with Zoe making it a 900 potency aoe burst heal with 0 DPS loss that doesn't use your addersgall stacks

Liturgy is excellent anywhere there is repeated aoe damage (The repeated AOEs in both EX fights, Intemperance 1 with raidwide spam in P1S)

If your complaint is that the healing is overkill and "not mandatory" in casual content then I mean, yeah, it's well documented that healers have an incredibly overpowered toolset for anything that isn't EX or savage since early shadowbringers.

Pneuma is a good addition. It's always intended to be a DPS neutral tool to heal. And like HyperiusUltima mentioned, buffed with Zoe, that 900p heal is no joke especially with the obnoxious 25y radius. it's also one of the few tools SGE has to answer DRK's Living Dead if it happens.

Macrocosmos is flexible and on the borderline of being broken. It's funny how this spell can easily deletes some mechanic in a single press. I dub it as Macromech Deleter for that reason. Not sure about getting overtopped by your co-healer. Press faster or communicate with your co-healer then? I wish they create more buttons like this and Pneuma.

Lilybell is.... okay. At its worst case it's just an inferior Earthly Star. Probably lower the cooldown to 2m or readjust how to proc the healing waves. Having the caster to get hit seems very counterintuitive. Either way, it's a desirable tool to answer early raidwides when the WHM have 0 lilies.

Not gonna lie, this thread screams like a bait to me but if it's a genuine complaint, then I apologize for assuming so.

I don't even do high end raids and I disagree with OP. The Lv90 abilities aren't garbage and that's including the meme'd SCH sprint (love the extra sprint in towns).
In fact, I consider to finally dabbled in savage just because at this point, normal just doesn't cut it anymore. So many ogcd healing but can barely utilize them to the fullest.

you don't want to use Pneuma on cooldown, it does the same damage as Dosis. You use it when you need a chonky heal

I don't really like Lilybell, it feels more like an AST ability. WHM isn't about planning out when to set up your delayed heal thing, it's about big chonkin' heals. And the heal from it feels really weak unless the timer runs out and it all goes off at once.

In almost every fight you're better off using low cd oGCDs in the opener rather than Pneuma, while saving Pneuma for something sub-2 minutes in. It's simple: if you use your long CDs first, and your short CDs second, you have nothing left the third time around, because everything's still on CD. Also, with the exception of P4S P1, none of those raidwides need immediate healing anyway.

Atleast you get a 90 button. MCH gets another robot auto attack. Summoner just finally gets the carbuncle glam to turn them into the actual summons with some bonus potency.

I hate to be any new SMN from level 1.
It took 90 levels to actually become a summoner lmao.
Instead they coulda made the 3 summons at 50 or something and then add the other summons like Ramuh, Shiva and Leviathan later on. It's very boring until 90 but you're still dealing with the same summons you had for almost 10 years.
