The guy that programmed their queue system is probably browsing job listings.
Tbh, the most teams are probably on a well deserved vacation.
But these, responsible for the server, are in major stress and panic mode.
Like any normal day?
I just suspect they will be doing overtime due the massive work and maintenance planning they have to do.
They can't just magically pull new servers out of their butts. So there's only so much you can do.
And let's face it, we had issues long before Covid was even a thing. Why spend a lot of money on new servers when the issue will fix itself anyway. Look at how many new servers we got (again before covid when there was no supply issues) vs the popularity rise.
From a business perspective it's not a good idea to spend a lot of money on new expensive servers when the issue will resolve itself over time.
Thinking about the next mount, emote and dress they'll sell on the Mogstation for 30 dollars, which they'll sell on the thousands and laughing at how they won't use the benefits to improve the servers.

Shame on me. I slept in because my body can't take the 4 am wake ups plus my trade job and real life so I only got to play my daily 20 min. Shame on me for not utilizing my tiny daily time limit window to the max. Fuck this game. The story sucks too btw.
