Easy math:
Japan - 125mln for 32 servers = 3,906,250 per server
NA - 360mln for 24 servers = 15,000,000 per server
Europe - 744mln for 12 servers = 62,000,000 per server

Are all the servers equal capacity?
Fair enough. Have a freshly baked meme.

This is really nothing new tbh. If you've played any mobile games based outside of the US (specifically China, Japan, etc.), you'll know that the favoritism runs deep. Their home country/region always gets preferential treatment compared to the NA side of things (ironically making up usually close to half of their overall profits, but oh well).
But also lets not forget that NA internet infrastructure kind of a joke compared to say Japan or Koreas along with how their data centers are done and also this is a Japanese company/ MMO so of course they will cater to their home turf which just making most sound like Karens.......
Is why half there responses to problems are lvl 1 reset modem awnsers. Thou they have the advantage with infrastructure due to several reasons, One korea is litterally the size of one state, Michigan i think smaller. Two Japan is an island, they have no where to build but up.
Thou America did alot of stuff to themselves in the way they built and set themselves up with cooperate greed and monopolies, it is still bigger by alot =p
They cannot duplicate the overseas problem. its not something they are use to or ever had to deal with.
Well they upgraded the US servers a couple of months ago (i think its was in july) so more people could login during the player surge at that time.
Unfortunately they never did the same thing to the EU servers until now (i could be wrong though but didnt saw anything about it).
I believe the current concurrent players per server is 7,000. They mentioned this in a previous letter along with the warning that them doing so increased server instability and to anticipate possible issues.
not sure what point you are trying to make exactly. yep, you are right, the EU has a lot of people, are you trying to say all of them play FFxiv?
just at a glance, your "easy math" is exceedingly misleading not to mention not indicative of how exactly things work in reality
It's more than 7000. They upgraded it to almost 8000 back in 2013 (their initial 5000 per server was earlier in 2013)

And they've done it multiple times since.
They did in September :)

they upgraded the login cap for EU in July

EU has also gotten more new servers than JP or NA.
EU would also have been demanding that many worlds be shut down entirely if they had as many as JP prior to recent growth. EU in fact was demanding fewer worlds as recently as 4.0.
