Inner Release doesn't work as it should?

Well, on inner release skill description says:

"Grants 3 stacks of Inner Release, each stack allowing the use of Beast Gauge actions without cost and guaranteeing that all attacks are critical and direct hits.
Additional Effect: Nullifies Stun, Sleep, Bind, Heavy, and most knockback and draw-in effects
Duration: 15s
Additional Effect: Extends Surging Tempest duration by 10s to a maximum of 60s
Additional Effect: Grants Primal Rend Ready
Duration: 30s"

Well there something I don't understand here, skill description says" all attacks that consume gauge will cause a critical and a direct hit", but, GCD abilities that DON'T CONSUME GAUGE are causing critical and direct hit as well (except auto attacks) and consuming the stacks of Inner release". Its a glitch ? Or I'm not paying attention on the skill description?

On older version, gauge, non-gauge skill and auto attacks does critical and direct hit.

because of the AND in there it ties together that any weaponskill you use will suck up a stack. tooltips are annoying but it does make sense.

This definitely confused me. Why didn't they just make spenders consume stacks so that we can actually use offensive oGCDs in between cleaves?

The critical direct hit only appears on weaponskills. Talents and autohits aren´t effected anymore, meanwhile any weaponskill will cause 1 beaststack to drop.

Yeah, the english tooltip is curious.

because SE doesnt care about warrior and it shows. If the jobs were made "easier", as they love saying EVERY expansion, then IR would work the way you said. it would ONLY "eat" BG skills (this was also a problem with the last riddle of earth stacks on monk: it would eat it with ANY skills, including form shift).

i just went into a 79/80 dungeon. tried to use nascent ON MYSELF and i couldnt. now THAT'S something that isnt working the way it should.

You can just use 3x Fell Cleave/Decimate any time you use IR, we don't need jobs being dumbed down to the point where it's impossible to make mistakes.

Raw Intuition/Bloodwhetting gives you mitigation and healing now, Nascent Flash is specifically for party members.

hmm i got the last part now. as someone was like saying NF did it and i was like noo... it doesnt?

im just saying that SE says they want to make things easier, and that would make it easier. so many players prepull using IR in general without applying storm's eye (or bc you know, the gcd speed thing along with 10s wouldnt be punishment either). there still would be skill involved, such as knowing how early to pre-pop and get another sooner, but that doesnt exist with initial pulls it seems. so one can get ahead using the 30s to advantage, but other than that, it does solve the SKS issue

Onslaught and upheaval do not consume ir stacks. So ir seems to be working as intended. You wouldn't really want to hit combo weapons kills in between cleaves anyway I think.

Hmm. Ir duration is 15 secs. Not 30 btw.

I am dumbfounded as to why anyone would hit anything other than felcleave in the first place. Aside from AoE lol. How is this an issue, by habbit you should be spamming fel cleaves anyway. What is this?

I think people thought ir was 30 secs and that they could hit weaponskills like heavy swing in-between fell cleaves, or hit ir, eye combo, and then fc.

When they tried, they found out weaponskills like heavy swing eats ir stacks, and felt ir wasn't working as intended.

But it's fine how it is. You can hit onslaught and upheaval in-between and that's all you need. Also it being on charges makes it easier to use nascent flash, because we can now hit ir and have all the time in the world to hit nascent flash before cleaning, whereas before, we'd have to his nascent flash first, then feel pressured because we'd have to hit ir as fast as possible to get all 3 cleaves in nascent flash.

The change is pretty good qol improvement.
