Ok, so while a bit annoyed with the announcement (though actually sort of works out in the end if I can reclaim my PTO) I’m wondering since the Square store doesn’t show if the physical CE will still be shipped on time or has it been delayed as well?

I don't see why the physical edition wouldn't ship as planned. You still have to download the client update regardless once you get it. The update would overwrite anything that needed overwriting from the physical disk version.

the collector's box isn't tied to the game launch since it's just goodies so if it was ready to go on original launch date, they wouldn't need to push that back.

The SE Store help is pretty good with responding to inquiries about items. Not surprising it's not delayed since as has been said just physical goodies no game or anything. If it were to be delayed they are usually pretty on top to inform buyers about such a delay. The CE box will soon join my collection of 1.0, ARR, HW, SB and ShB CE's.

So a quick update. The date has been changed to December 7th. I only found this out when I was notified about doing a survey and I clicked on the link they provided me with before. That's fine and all as I was surprised it hadn't been delayed before, but I let them know I was unsatisfied with how they handled it. :p They need to get their customer service reps on the same page.

I got an email today telling me I would be charged soon for my preorder so expecting that to happen shortly. Doesn't look like the actual delay has affected their billing of my preorder.
