Say goodbye to some Achievements being locked away by changes in endwalker.

IE like gather 20k HQ items.

But they removed the Notorious Monster Hunter title achievement from diadem... So probably those gonna be deleted as well...

Advanced warning with clear clarification as to which achievements are being tweaked/removed would be appreciated.

Of the many contributing factors to WoW's decline, content being removed from the game proved to be a major point of contempt for many players. I'd rather not see FFXIV go in the same direction.

But they said diadem achievements were going away. They said gathering achievements would be tweaked/adjusted, not removed.

It was on the slides on the last live letter

Are they really said that to diadem achievement? That's sad then... Although mine still pretty far away for title, there's no way to get that then :(

I assume this was in regards to one of the many older iterations of The Diadem, before it exists as we have it now.
Because we got something like a 2 week notice before they removed them. You can no longer get old Diadem achievements.

Everything Diadem related in regards to Ishgard Restoration will continue to exist, or so nothing has lead me to believe otherwise.

Yet, as of right now I can still see an impossible to complete Diadem achievement that I never got finished back in the day...Mapping the Realm: The Diadem. Even flying EVERYWHERE in the new Diadem it doesn't complete it.

To be fair, they gave us a list of what wouldn't be achievable in ARR once 1.0 was to go down, with enough time to grind most of it out.
But then the list of things ACTUALLY unattainable was far greater.

Finishing up with 20k HQ for Min and Btn at the moment before EW because even with the change I don't want to have to deal with them changing it to something like, for example, Mine 1 Million times.

When the Fold was removed, the achievements from there were added by the Feast, so i'd guess that the Feast achievemetns will move to the new PVP mode which replaces the Feast.

I wouldn't assume that.

We've had examples of achievements being shifted/changed based on new content/content removal AND we've had examples of achievements becoming unattainable.
It could go either way tbh... We might get more information from the next Live Letter on the 8th... we'll see.

If I remember right I think you had to get an insane amount of gil from enemies. That would have been too boring of a grind for anyone. ^^;

You haven't fully explored the Diadem. The achievement is VERY obtainable. I got it a few months ago

For the diadem one you actually have to fly over what used to be all the little starting point islands. post a screenshot of your diadem maps and can probably figure out what you're missing.
