330 strat?
Looking at the chat log in that photo, I'd say yes.
Congrats! Now you have nothing to do again....
Well that solves the problem of not being able to kill it without 5 blms after the patch, right?
grats!
trust me, ill still be doing it a lot, im the official headdress whore now
Flame thread incoming lol
People really shouldn't flame for this. It's not hurting anyone else after all. I just wouldn't expect too many congrats.
id be expecting a hotfix for garuda very soon
When you have a game so desperately trying to climb its way out of the ashes, it would be unlikely that they would ban their paying customers. I'm sure everyone has seen what Cedarwood looks like these days. Sure there is no proof that they are rmts, but anyone with a brain larger than a peanut could tell what they are up to.
Sanctus can u even beat Garuda normal way?
****storm incoming.
Haters gonna hate. I wont be using that strat myself but you're free to play the game however you like. Congratulations on your drops.
You got them all? how did you get them all?

38 kills (all normal kills, no burn). 4 headdresses gifted. 5 unique from drops, 2 purchased with headdresses.
Hah first thing I thought. I got a Garuda's Beak the other night for my main, so I don't have the energy to complain. Need the energy to poke things with my new weapon. Got it on my first Garuda kill, lol. :D
In all fairness though, there isn't much room to complain anymore. Each defeat does give you some form of reward now, just have to beat her 20 times to get a weapon. :P

Oh look another epeen thread ..
Congratulation I spose.
Even mage burning takes some coordination and skill. It is still not zone in and auto win.
Once that is patched, people will move on to the next easiest way to kill her.
The only major significance of this fight is that you get a reward every time. Unlike Ifrit and Moogle where you don't know how many kills it will take until you are 7/7 at least with Garuda you know it will be no more then 140 kills.
Garudas Van must look something along these lines:

I think the last one is Batmans Van...so that means one of the first two must be Garudas Van. Let me know if you figure it out.
Wish it was as easy as it sounds.
You need strict gear, people who don't suck, and concrete timing. You only have 90 seconds, countless times you will die with her on 1-2%, many people wiped trying to get it down just perfectly.
Even with patch, whats the big deal? People will figure out the safe spots and the quickest classes and we back to square one, waste of time lol. Infact it would be faster if you just did legit runs than this because at least you can pretty much garauntee a win, where as this you cant. couple resists = instant loss, couple incorrect combo timings instant loss. etc
Ah well, in the end it is a strategy, and we will then move onto the next stacking class quick kill strategy.
Nothing changes.
Wow, and I still don't have a single Ifrit or Moogle weapon.
It's times like this I wish I named myself Wayne Brady...
I've watched LS's hardcore BLM burn farm Garuda and never lose for hours on end. There's probably some big thing you're missing in your burn execution. Nevertheless, "tank and spank with an enrage timer" is still all it is. This isn't a strategy to beat the fight, it's a strategy to skip the fight and just get the loot. The real fight is everything after aerial blast and I can't imagine someone seriously denying that point.
The longer the fight goes, the higher your chances are of wiping due to the proportionately higher performance requirements in reacting properly and quickly to the transitions. I don't care about people using a BLMburn to kill before Aerial Blast, but it's abundantly clear how much easier it is compared to dealing with what happens after Aerial Blast -- claiming otherwise is what bears correction. The initial development and video of the strategy was an interesting proof-of-concept. Beyond that, there's nothing interesting about people using the strategy to farm more efficiently before it gets fixed.
The gear requirement is fairly loose; this has already been proven by groups with AF, single melds, etc.
I'm with Raikki on this one. I'm far more impressed by Kaeko's Mistress BLMburn (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-Burn-Strategy). The theory and effort put into that strategy paid dividends for me personally and my performance when playing BLM.
