If you want a dungeon that has gear, it's pretty limited and the dungeon also gives fewer tomes. Baelsar's Wall, Ala Mhigo, and Ghymlit Dark are the only dungeons that have gear, and those give 4 tomes instead of 5. -

Amaurot seems like a lot more of a slog than some of the others. Ghimlyt in particular seems quite fast for gathering large groups of enemies, and the glamour is fairly sought after for that.
Plus you'd get tokens for your relic weapon because it's a level 70 dungeon, which probably makes up for getting one less tome out of it even if it wasn't quicker.
