Assuming that it could be made to fit player character models in a way that looked good? Yes, I'd buy it.

For good measure, even if I would not use it, his hairstyle would be a good addition alongside the costume itself.

With that said, I would have bought Hien's outfit had it come with his hairstyle, stubble and the textures on his attire weren't so blatantly stretched.

If it was not one piece and dyeable yeah.

Probably wouldn’t buy his outfit no cuz it’s not my cup of tea. A minion however? Along with Elidibus and Lahabrea? 1000 times yes.

That said, I'd definitely be curious to see how they'd go about making it available.
Would it be just a one piece? Multiple? Would it come with the hairstyle?
Would the hairstyle be available to female characters while the rest of the outfit isn't?

Wouldn't mind it as a civilian outfit, but the much less likely Hades robes would be an absolute yes.

Give me Lahabrea's Ascian Prime robes so I can use it on Reaper.

While I think the robe and hair style would be wonderful additions to the game, I think we should stop having "add to mogstation" as the default for any in game glams. Would I wear the robe? Absolutely. Would I pay an additional 20+ dollars for it? Absolutely not.

As much as i like the shadowless set, if only because it’s the closest thing to an ascian set, like you said yeah. We need some actual ascian robes. The shadowless set is role locked and just feels like a shoddy bootlegged version of the real deal. I was really hoping the end of expansion glam for ShB would be our own robes but we didn’t get anything so :c

It'd be gender-locked, so I'd have no use for it. Even the hair would probably be useless to me because Viera.

Also I'm just not big on cosplaying NPCs.

The caster/healer hats over hoods or even that neat little Hades crown version maiming/fending get... so disappointing.

No, I wouldn't buy it - but his glam should be added as well as his hairstyle
Just because SE has shafted us of Ryne's hairstyle from her outfit, doesn't mean short hairs should be shafted either

Personally, I'm hoping for a Hydalyen Ascian robe equivalent. And with it looking similar enough to the Ascian robes that if its dyable you could basically dye the outfit to look like one.

If I had to chose between psycho killers on steroids' outfits, I'd take Zenos' one over Emet.

I love Emet-Selch as a character but I'd be lying if I said his character design, especially his weird dress, does anything for me lol. Apparently they designed him to look as little like FFXV's Ardyn as possible, which kinda sucks because I think Ardyn got the better design between the two of them..

Not really. I know I'm in the minority on this one, but I don't like the "story character clothes being on the station" I'd rather we get unique stuff and not just cosplay of them essentially.

Yes I would, his coat is cool and I like the Garlean symbol on the back of it.

I also wish they'd add Crystal Exarch's 5.0 gear to the mogstation, that's one of the coolest robe looks I've seen in game, also I'm still hoping they add The Griffin's outfit as well.

Nah, probably not. I miss Emet Selch the man, not Emet Selch the look. He was the character this game needed - a foil to all the hopeless goody-twoshoeisms and unabashedly earnest Scions; a person who asked real, legitimate questions about Eorzea, whether we were on the right side of this conflict or not, and truly believed in his cause without being a hackneyed 'evil 'cause LOL I'M BORED' villain like Zenos - and they killed him off.

If there were a way to remove the bottom half of the robe, then yes. I very much like the top half of Emet's outfit, and his gloves are reminiscent to me of Colonel Mustang's. However, they hardly ever make robe bottom halves like that, so if they did add it, it would likely hide my boots and pants, and I just hate that, so I likely wouldn't buy it for that reason alone.

We've got enough skirts and dresses to last a lifetime. We need less skirts and dresses in the game, really.

Yes, I'd put the outfit on a mannequin in my house. My cat main would end up talking to it.

Although I first read the title as "If they added Emet-Selch to the Mog Station...", the answer to which was still a resounding yes. :cool:

I don't usually use npc outfits, but my character was attached enough to Emet that I could see him wearing his coat sometimes to remember him by, so I'll say yeah, if there was a way to get his gear either in game or otherwise, I'd get it.

I'm still holding out for a statue, maybe something like the Omega one that could show off both Emet, Elidibus and their boss forms, and comes with his signature wave as the emote.
Or if not that, another retrospective quest chain like the one that gets you Haurchefaunt's signature emote.

I want them to bring him back. And before someone says "that would ruin his arc!" - his arc was too damned brief as it was. Emet was a thinking villain cut from the same general cloth as Gaius (although he - mercifully - didn't speak nearly as much). Those are the types of intellectual antagonists that this game needs... not Zenos and his pointless, omnicidal quest for chaos.

Not sure I could find any use for his coat, despite liking it.
