"An unexpected error has occurred" regarding DX11

Hey there.

I've recently been running into issues regarding DX11 usage. I saw that it is a very common problem, and I read about it a ton, but nothing I follow seems to work.

This is the issue in particular:

So far I have tried:

1) Disabling any overclocking
2) Starting the game with no other programs running (clean boot)
3) Underclocking my GPU
4) Playing the game in different settings (fullscreen, vsync on and off)
5) Disabling any overlays
6) Removing any unnecessary USB devices
7) Reinstalling my graphics card drivers
8) Turning off fullscreen optimizations, turning on windows 7 compatibility
9) Installing latest DX11 drivers
10) Reinstalling the game

I'm really at my limit at this point, it happens so randomly, and it seems to be a common issue that has no solution.

I have no mods installed either. I have tried capping FPS with RivaTuner without using the in-game cap, but it crashes both with and without it.

Recently had this issue. Looked online and adding a bypass in the firewall to the actual game (the launcher and boot applications are added when installing but not the actual game) helped to fix the issue. Haven't had it since and I used to get it every system restart.

I have attempted it as well, putting both of the game exe files to be allowed through the firewall, but I unfortunately still ended up crashing during a dungeon afterwards.

Funnily enough, the game also crashes almost instantly after opening the currency tab, which did not happen on the previous patch.

An update.

While none of my attempts yielded any results, I have found that the game's GPU usage randomly spikes to 100% when the crash occurs.

Have any changes happened to the device before the issue began? Does the issue occur when FINAL FANTASY XIV is installed on the C:/ Drive?

No changes happened to my system, and no other games have the same type of issue. I admit that one thing I have not yet tried is installing the game on the C drive, as that is my SSD drive with not a lot of free space available on it.

I have tested it, and it indeed still doesn't work on the C drive.

The same error, and I'v just started to player 3 years ago. Or I tried at least. What helped a little bit for me was moving a game from HDD to SSD. Now I can play with my character, but still I can't for example look for System Settings, in-game as in main menu, it just constantly crash with the same error. Also tried every single solution, no luck yet...
