PPl, do you think about making groups of DRS and his difficult? I see that is quite hard making groups and quite hard finish this instance in savage. DO you think this instance will be nerf in the future??

either it gets nerfed or it gets abandoned. There is no good way to get organised without third party help like discord. And with new content, people we move away from it anyways. And rightfully so imo
Hi there,
To get a group you need to join various discord that aims to progress DRS.
Problem is that many actually cleared it so you're a bit late to the party.
Good news, it will be indirectly nerfed through new Bozja actions that will be much stronger than what we have right now.
DRS itself is far from difficult, with the new action you'll be able to complete it with 24 players or to roll on it with 48 players and the new actions.
Yoshida mentionned that it will remain the most difficult content across the Bozja series.
Not only that but the reward structure is downright abysmal. Unlike BA, which had multiple sellable drops, DRS is a massive gil/time sync in terms of getting fragments as it drops a paltry amount. And once you clear a single time for the Cerberus, there is no reason to keep going unless you like titles.
It basically has no staying power beyond the enjoyment of the fights themselves. Which is a shame because they are good fights. But even the best designed content will get repetitive over time.
I imagine it gets completely forgotten about and buried just like Eureka.
The problem that I have with with it is, unlike BA which has a lot of nice drops you can sell, there's hardly any reason to go back into DR after you get Cerebus. (Which the orginal way to carry people on your mount was in their mouths, mad they didn't go with that) The judge gear isn't worth the effort, either. Then because there's no reason to run it again, less and less people are willing to help new people run it. I think they have some good ideas with this but as it stands it just doesn't really work.
Some people don't like this but... ... Eh.. lol, I really appreciate and strongly encourage and continue the rolling mountain design to pretty much everything but ultimate in the game. Where basically stuff is hard ish to hard, at the start, and then over time, and particularly lack of attention, gets easier and easier. In this way nearly all types of players get to enjoy said content. Whether it's the harder core, medium core, casual, hardcore solo player, no time duo player, to the I want to oversync faceroll it easy solo player.
So hope this continues into bozja as well, but specifically with attention to participation. There is no point making it hyper solo easy when people are still actively doing the content (in an open way at least, I wouldn't count one FC or a group of bots as 'alive' content at that point, it should be something you can sort of group into). But once it's not, I'm all for the nerf hammer slamming into it.
I was just speaking in general but I absolutely understand that desire, that's why I listed multiple types of people ;). The intent isn't meant to go from 1,000 to -500 instantly. But slowly the content adjusts due to demand, and at a certain point that means it will also require less people and so forth. Improving rewards first makes sense in terms of the steps of 1,000 to -500 lol. Especially as this content is still going to be the active content till the very soon to be end of expansion (nerfing too quickly would just get people waiting with nothing to do sooner).
From what I understand there wont be any nerfs to DRS but rather players are going to be getting some boosts in damage with a prestige-esque system come 5.55. After hitting the new rank cap in 5.55 players can basically continue leveling beyond the cap and that should greatly increase their overall damage in Bozja content. So yeah, this should make DRS a bit easier to not to mention we will also be able to run it undersized, I think it a minimum of 24 players come 5.55 as well.
This is specific content targeted towards a specific demographic, that requires a specific amount of people, each with specific sets of lost actions, and playing with a specific role within the alliance. Pretty much doomed content, if not for the help of discord or other third party support. It's going to get incredibly difficult for newer players to get into after the expansion drops, assuming Yoshi doesn't do anything to address it. Regardless, I'm personally gonna try to clear and farm it after new bozja drops because once I get the sets I want there is no reason to run it beyond that.
It doesn't help that running it is mega expensive.
The new actions that come out better be super easily farmed else I highly doubt it will help
I mean its "savage" after all, but to have 48 people to know every mech is impossible and you need 48 of then to get a clear. without discord or going in blind in pfs wont get you any progress, you need to be able communicate to do this.
Uhh lots of people still do Eureka so idk what you're talking about. Baldesion runs are still going strong as well
The instance is liable to become much easier in 5.55 due to the addition of the "prestige" ranks that grant damage bonuses on top of whatever new actions they release.
I do wonder if there's going to be some kind of ultimate challenge for people who've grinded out both the haste gear and the prestige, though.
Devs said DRS will be hardest content still, we are getting a new mini raid but its going to be a crit engage like Castrum. There will also be some new 1v1s, I suppose those will be the most challenging of new content until folks figure out strategies.
No, it is.
I mean, you need 8 people to know every mechanics in savage. Get 6 groups that cleared a savage tier, you'll get far enough competent people.
Alright, many players I've seen use... External tools and they're completely lost without those. Those will have to do extra effort.
But honestly, the DRS mechanics are really easy, they're hard punish but if you can't res without specific actions, there's a reason. If you could res anyone, the content would've been cleared within hours when released.
I can think of 1, 2, maybe 3 hard mechanics during the whole DRS. It's sure scary because a run can last 2 hours, but honestly it's really easy. Diamond EX is harder than any bosses.
DRS is specifically managed and Ran through discord, no one forms groups for it in game, BA is actively ran on the Primal foreys server from what I can see so
Arguably, no, BA is more punishing. There are moments where a single player failing a mechanic can cause massive raid-wide devastation. Might be easier, being a bit more lax on the dps checks. To that end, DRs difficulty is more that it requires a greater ratio of players putting in effort.
But, Idk what y'all are on about with the incentive angle. BA and DRs both have a mount. And from where I'm standing, nothing else they offer is really worth repeat runs if you don't enjoy the content.
BA also has the conditional virtue minion which is a rare drop and sells for about 3.5 million, the Shin-Zantetsuken and great Shin-Zantetsuken which sells for about 700k on my server and the Damascene Cloth which sells for about which sells for about 250k. There's still some money to be made from doing BA. With DRS though, the only things you can sell from that are the fragments you get after clearing the golems and smiles and any that might drop from the sub bosses(which you can get from just cluster farming in bozja) and the Save the Princess minion which sells only for 350k here on Behemoth.
This is what they mean by the incentives in that you are making far less money in comparison from DRS to BA.
I've cleared it and regularly help new people clear it all the time. Like others have said, this is organized in Discord as it's just easier to do so. But it's not like it's a walled garden, anyone can come and learn how to clear!
