Anyhow, can we have a clarifications on AF weapons ? for "postoned" is assumed 1.22x or 1.23 ?

Wouldnt that destroy the purpose of listing the name you participated with during the Seventh Umbral Era?

I don't think the listing in the credits will be a game name. Ie it will probably be your real name in the credits if you opt into it.

So no more silly $3/fee character, you pay a set price and get x amount? Dat is epic imo.

If you're Legacy member, you get 8 per World. Meaning, more than 8 :D (maximum 40).

Entry sub is 1 per World, up to 8.

I was not expecting this.

So Im guessing if you have 3 characters on your account, you can only choose 1 of them.

I would like clarification on names as well, I'm planning on changing my surname come 2.0 and I would love to have either my rl name or my 2.0 name so people know who it is.

I would love my rl name in the credits to show off to my friends, "look I made FFXIV :D"

You can't change your characters name in 2.0, I thought Yoshi only said your race/gender was able to be changed because the new graphics engine will make them look different.

Actually I do believe that japanese has an expression that is equivalent to "derp", "orz"

Now THATS a reward! Awesome news, and the patch next week is the cherry on top. A few things being delayed until the 10th of May doesnt seem to be any reason to get our panties in a wad. Killer letter.

Last thing the reps have said about this is that they are considering the name changes, albiet you would have to make the name shorter than the current max for some reason.

He said they were looking into it, and if they chose to allow name changes they would probably shorten em, but we havent heard much on it since then.

1. I'm assuming it's real name in the credit, it doesn't say character name. I think real name would be a lot more meaningful but I can see where preference could go either way on this.

2. I don't think we all get 8 playable characters for free, it says "max".

I think that means only 8 max per server and 40 max across all servers. I think they are free still.

A standard account only gets 1 character up to 8 maximum. So yes Legacy gets 8 free with 40 maximum. (who would make more then 8? Muling nightmares anyone?)
