Is it just me or did the game get less toxic in the past hour?

So I was just mindlessly grinding away fates in bozja since SE thinks this is content. The last 2 Castrum runs I've been in everyone seems to be so nice! There were no toxic people telling me where to go and no one was complaining about my pure healer styler I was using in castrum!

Oh if you're reading this from the future this time period was between Tue, Oct 27 11:00 PM to Wed, Oct 28 12:00 AM (PDT)

Game never was toxic, just running into idiots.

Most of the castrum groups I've been in have been really good, but you do get those groups where they aren't :) I think the toxicity will reduce in time, the more people who can go in the bigger the party the less each individual's performance will matter :D

Congrats on the laid back run. May you have many more such experiences in game :D

Does people really bother looking at other's performances beyond tanking the floor in Bozja?

Gilgamesh has always had an issue with toxicity.

That's mostly the norm in Primal's instances of Castrum. The DPS checks aren't major enough to where everybody has to heavily push (unless you're top with Lyon), and more than enough people die to mechanics to where you're always going to need somebody rezing and healing people. The only complaint I would ever really give is if EVERYBODY died or if DPS wasn't enough to get through Lyon. Those are really the only two instances where judging needs to happen.

going to probably go out on a limb here and say we should be hitting a point that most every body has a general idea of how castrum works now. Not saying its going to be toxic free but we should start seeing more runs like these. But its great that the OP had a castrum that was smooth sailing and no one is fighting/arguing/raging etcetera etcetera :)

I'm tired of hitting my "They don't need to die at the same time" macro every run.

The past 10 minutes were INCREDIBLY TOXIC. I was in my house, and there was this idiot there. I was alone, but god I really hate that player! Proves this game is done for.

Yeah, I've only had one run of Castrum on Primal that went bad, of those that actually started; the problem was always runs that didn't have enough people to start. The one that went bad was only a day or two into Bozja; the upper group did not kill their boss quickly enough, so the lower group slowed down eventually... but it turns out, it's very hard to keep the drill alive if the battle drags on for ~10 minutes and you're avoiding AoEs so you don't kill your lower boss.

And if the drill dies, you wipe.

Every other run's been fairly smooth, though there was one where someone ran on ahead and pulled the final boss while people were opening chests. Everyone else got the "Move immediately to sealed space?" prompt, clicked yes... and all appeared right in the middle of an aoe. That was... uh, spicier than usual. But we still cleared, albeit with the healers making a herculean effort to get everyone back upright.

The bosses don’t need to die at the same time or even anywhere close.
The wave of adds is not an enrage and they don’t even damage the drill from what I’ve seen.

I’ve had runs (sadly not recorded) where we’ve killed a boss with the other over 50% left.
It’s kindly busywork but it’s easier than keeping your boss alive for no reason. It’ll only serve to damage the drill.

It's easy to notice when 6 people without essences active personally volunteer for Lyon and then proceed to wipe the entire raid 3 times. :D

You don't need essences to do Lyon though. It takes a little bit longer but you're fine without :)
