FFXV Cross-over Event - Please bring it back.

I believe that it would be awesome if SE brought back the FFXV event at least one more time. While I know the initial event lasted a while; I, as well as so many others weren't in the game then and so we missed out on quite a few rewards.

The biggest thing of this is the 4-person mount. There are currently only 3 options in the entire game for this type of seating. Savage content, Mog Station and this car. So unless you get a group for savage content, are willing to spend roughly $40 USD, or already have the car... you're kind of S.O.L.

I thought that they already confirmed that they would bring it back at some point? Maybe I'm misremembering.

They already confirmed it will be back. Given that they've laid out the event schedule for the rest of the year and it's not in there chances are it will be next year.

They said events like FFXV's one is like flipping a switch, the question really is When will they flip that switch?

Right now, who knows next dry spell between last patch and new expansion most likely which'll be between June and Aug due to Covid delay.

Okay I'm down but I want to add something:

Give us a chance to get Noct's hairstyle and outfit.

....And Ardyn's hairstyle and outfit.

Why have events when everything becomes devalued, just plop it on an NPC and call it a day at this point. As you said you werent playing then so why does it matter? Wait for another event in the future and get those rewards. Ill never understand this new era of demand where everyone expects things just because they feel they are entitled to it because everyone else has it.

You already could get Noctis's outfit & hairstyle though? The items for the event were his hair, the regalia & his outfit.
Ardyn's would be fun to see though.

If the event returns the same way it was the first time around, and there's no reason to think otherwise, it will indeed be possible to get (young) Noct's hairstyle and outfit.
No hairstyles or outfits for the other characters, though.
I've always been more partial towards Ignis' outfit, or older Noct's, but anything that wasn't included in the first run of the event is unlikely to be added to a rerun.

While I often see a lot of entitlement in these forums, I don’t think it’s really fair to call this such. She(he?) simply expressed desire to do this event and obtain the 4 seat mount which current alternatives are limited to savage Eden and a mogstation purchase.

Moreover, this specific mount wasn’t just handed out, it cost a fair investment of time to get the MGP to get. I didn’t see the OP say anything akin to “give it to me from an NPC for free thx”.

Finally, the event was confirmed on some live letter and easy to do as they own the franchise involved...so why not?

I want to see it again because I HAVE played FFXV and it was a very stupid game but dagnabit I liked it and I want to see the event.

Umm, it's because it is in the hands of a sizable portion of the community. If it's a hard to get a raid mount that requires effort to acquire, then not an issue. But when something is easy to get but only around for a short period of time, that is an issue that should be resolved. The XV mount, outfits, and hair were all easy to get and only around for slightly over a month. This means players not able to log in that month, or people who had not yet come to the game missed the chance at an easy to get and frankly highly useful mount. In fact, that mount being a 4-person mount was the only mount of its kind in the game for over 2 months, until Shadowbringer was released. Also, players wouldn't have the other 4-person mount for another couple months past that point. Even now with lots of statics doing that raid, the bumper car is still not as common as the XV car. The balance of adding a 4-person mount to the Market will lessen the degree of disparity, but it doesn't change that out of the 3 4-person mounts it's still the nicest looking one. Which is why people want the event to come back regularly. The event last time happened April to May of 2019, and if they held to what they normally do, it would have happened again around the same period of time. This year it did not happen, which is why people are commenting more about it now.

BTW I have 1 of the 3 and am close to the second on my Au Ra. But honestly, I'd rather have the car, as I missed the event due to having a full work schedule back in 2019, and wasn't playing MMOs at the time. I do not feel entitled to something I didn't earn, but I am annoyed the best version of a thing was something so mind numbling easy to get but gated with time.

I should point out, I have that mount, and the other one as well, because I played both factions in the specific time period they had the contest. And thanks to state laws and the way they did the contest, they can never again offer the Red side mount ever again. Blue side can get theirs anytime for coin.
