y’know if you think about it elezen could dunk on everyone in basketball

they got the height, they got the hops, and they don’t got funky horns to mess up their shot

if there were teams of each character race in the game the Elezen Dragoons would bizzity bop everyone

I don't remember where I am on the height slider, but as an Elezen I am constantly surprised that I am the tallest in all my duties and FC gatherings.

Umm, I'm Built like an Elezen IRL same height and everything, and frankly, I can't dunk. I'm too pale-skinned to jump according to the movies in the 90s. Being an over 6-foot tall Scottish Jew doesn't mean I'm any good at basketball.

its not in the physique, it’s the history

elezen fight dragons, many of them by jumping mad high, while crashing down on targets, giving them the hops and the accuracy
they also run away from dragons, cause dragons are scary, giving them the endurance
they look pretty good, giving them the crowd appeal
and from their giraffe heritage they also eat lots of greens, giving the the healthy fit bodies

these are my arbitrary reasons as to why elezens would be top tier hoopers

While I agree Dragoons are great jumpers, every race can learn that skill. Therefore Dragoons make great ballers, Me, I'm a caster. My Elezen Main (not the sig character) has only Caster Classes and Ranged Classes. She like me Can't jump. In fact, when she's fighting, she has a hard time even moving.

I'd say a au'ru male would be the best basketball player of ffxiv races.

They got the height which will help them dunk or block shots, also they have fit bodies that are muscular but not heavy like roes or hrothgar, which also will allow them to have good speed out on a good saucer basketball court.

Plus thier long arms would benefit them in stealing the ball from another race while that race is dribbling the ball down the gold saucer basketball court.

it’s gonna be real hard to get a good form to shoot with those horns in the way, and the tail is too easy to pull, all they gotta do is go behind and yank the tail for a free steal, and eorzea ball has no rules

Oh, I was thinking in traditional basketball rules, but with no rules then that changes everything.

Why dribble the ball when u could just carry it and if someone is getting close they could just slap a sleep spellbon em so they couldn't pull thier tail.

As far as the horn issue goes with no rules in mind then if they can shoot arrows on a hard or shots from a MCH gin then I'd say they got a clear enough view to shoot onto the rim or land 3 pointer shot on the court.

Plus with the horns instead of blocking someone from dunking they could just gore the person whose going for a dunk or trying to capitalize on a fellow teammate's ally oop shot, trust me man male au'ru would be the superstars of the gold saucer basketball league, they'd dominate in the GBA ( Gold saucer Basket ball Assosiation)
