I'm continuously amazed by the immense IQ of FF14 players

From talking to people playing this game and investigating the design philosophy that this game follows, I came to the conclusion that FF14 players probably have the highest IQ among gamers. People openly debate speedrunning strategy and BiS gearsets in Novice Network, a clear sign that even beginners in this game are attuned to the high demands of end-game raiding (Savage and Ultimate). Furthermore, this game's politics tends liberal, and research has indicated that liberals, on average, have a higher IQ. We must also not forget the IQ of Yoshi P himself. As a producer, developer, and manager, he managed to pull this game out of a horrific mess and turned it into a game that has enjoyed critical acclaim, with the latest Shadowbringers expansion scoring a 92 on Metacritic. How can one not view this as anything but an indication of 150+ IQ among Square Enix's MMO division? This game is also a deeply philosophical game. Stormblood explores the theme of essence versus existence, echoing the existentialist works of Sartre. Shadowbringers masterfully deploys the literary techniques of Ishiguro and Miłosz. Let's also not forget that Soken regularly uses Serialist techniques that are too subtle for regular WoW fans to appreciate. To actually enjoy this game and play through the main scenario quest implies a deep appreciation for highly philosophical, nuanced, and artful stories. That is why the game's focus on story will undoubtedly attract high-IQ players. Finally, let's not forget the deep crafting and gathering system in this game. In other games, crafting is simply a click. However, this game demands you to set up intricate macros and fully understand the various crafting actions in order to craft anything useful. Yet another sign of high IQ.

I often wonder how many people catch on that his forum handles/character names are gay porn sites. I think one of his low key trolls is hoping that people google his character names to find his lodestone and come across that instead.

80% of the threads being posted here lately are his. And every legit thread here has some lame purposefully baiting comment by him as well. The sooner he joins his flaming pile of other banned alts the better.

And honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing him banned in-game as well, since banning him here doesn't seem to do anything. He seems to think being banned from the forums is just more lolz for the fire. So maybe perma-banning that account of his with all those ultimate clears would teach him that riling people up for laughs during a time when the last thing people need is more reasons to get riled up is maybe not a cool thing to do.

Creating pointless threads with the sole purpose of trolling would get you warned on most forums; eventually leading to a ban if you kept doing it. Mods just don't care here.

Quality of posts needs to be a standard rule across any online platform. We can apparently kick for Difference in playstyle despite it being nowhere on the list. So why not difference in post style?

I'd hate to see the ability for the general group to kick out posters or threads on a vote basis, like reddit does with hiding comments via ranking / straight out hiding. I'd prefer to be annoyed and have to consume diverse content than to be pleased all the time in my preferred space, but I'm saying that with the purpose that I think the forums are for feedback of a diverse base. I could see moments where a feature someone liked would just be pummeled out of existence, even if technically SE is interested in trying it (like I imagine some days if you talked about Eureka or Housing you could be on the wrong side of the fence).

The currently prevailing theory is of one general intelligence, there isn't a great deal of evidence to support the idea of multiple types of intelligence.

It's a shame really, given that I'm not particularly special in the brains department, I know which one I'd prefer to be true.
