Literally anything for SCH that isn't another heal they don't need. Either a buff or a DPS ability, literally anything that gives them something to do other than "lmao, broil broil broil"

Honestly I just want healer LB3 range greatly increased. It's such a small range it can't even get someone on the other side of Shiva's if you're on the opposite side.
I want a trait to make Tomahawk ricochet and Fell Cleave everything it hits.
Aside from getting more interesting dps options for healers, I would like to have an AoE shield for WHM. It doesn't have to be a GCD, an oGCD on a 60-90s cd would be alright.
My reason for this is that in DF content you get double WHM so often, and when people are new and/or inexperienced, fail the mechanics, and collect vulnerability up stacks, direct healing can only go so far. While shields aren't even necessary very often, in groups like those above I often feel kind of powerless as WHM, while as SCH/AST I can manage.
Usually, the devs give us options for those kind of situations. And as WHM is the most popular healer (thus double WHM is very common) I find it so weird that it doesn't have shields. It wouldn't even be overpowered because other healers have shields as well, and you don't even need them most of the time...
Gap Closer / Teleport for Summoner.
A native low level heal spell/ability for GLA/PLD - we had Cure under the old cross-class system but that was removed with SB and nothing replaced it. It's not an issue during dungeons/parties of course, but in solo duties (particually the old GLA class quests which were designed with the expectation you had Cure cross classed) it is particularly problematic.
Maybe have it automatically replaced by Clemency at 58 which is a far more potent heal. But something is definetely needed at lower levels - potions just don't cut the mustard.
Kenka (Transformation) for Ninjas at lv 90. Not like the hellfrog medium one button attack, but an actual transformation. Although it probably wouldn't work due to NIN gameplay being more fast pace burst and trick attack aligned compared to Kenka in NIN storyline, but perhaps using Kenka for a half transformation? Something similar to Sage mode in Naruto anime that boosts NIN's base state and elevates all their techniques.
At least something to make Hyoton more useful - such as entering Sage mode turns all base mudra skills into getting an extra effect /potency and weaponskills causing some slash/bleed debuff (with Bunshin clones also getting transformation state and debuffs). Seems like an overall good powerup without breaking the flow of the current NIN gameplay and still being able to change up the rotation in a Trick Attack Window. I'd assume it would be something like a 3 min cooldown.
Melee finisher for RDM complete with crazy animation and built-in gap close.
the problem with most suggestions so far is that they are things that should be at lower levels lie they were before removal/nerf etc
Most importantly, the capstones should be NEW, not old or removed skills given a fresh coat of paint and returned (like temperance being divine seal, danger zone upgrading to blasting zone)
Finally, I feel this time around since the events in shadowbringers msq, the new capstones should really showcase the new strength of the warrior of dark/light
I would like mechanically speaking:
Dragoon- partial draconic transformation like nael's, gives us ability to do either ring of thorns aoe/high damage stab off of wheeling thurst/fang and claw while under life of the dragon
Dancer- Guarenteed procs of some kind for 20 seconds
Black mage- buff that allows 8 seconds of casting while moving
Ninja- A self buff that changes shuriken to a damaging line attack and gives the ninja guarenteed crits for a short period of time
Summoner- Demi alexander
Red mage- An aoe melee attack like verflare/holy OR verflood/verfreeze and verultima
Dark knight- Some sort of ogcd action that costs dark arts timer or blackblood to keep Fray out for longer. Quietus upgrading to voidwalker's quietus would be nice too...
Gunbreaker- A 2 cartridge buff/cure/attack of some kind
Astrologian- Almagest, a celestial attack magic that does heavy damage and increases buff duration of nearby allies while leaving a dot on the enemy.
White mage- A water magic attack
For warrior, I would like if they bring back a 60s damage CD alongside of Inner Release, to make Warrior a bit more complex in terms of gameplay, and also make them less dependant on Inner Release in general. Flatten that damage curve a bit.
Summoners Egi’s turn into permanent Demi versions. All of them change the Summoner’s moves like Phoenix does.
Regen song for Bard, it’s been in the game since like 1.0 lol but we aren’t good at enough to singing to use it I guess?
I’d also say a low level direct heal song. Maybe make it so you gain a proc or song gauge upon successfully healing the target. Or it could have an additional effect like giving the party member haste/damage up/damage reduction.
In general I want to see Bard get the old form of songs back. Party aoes that drain MP over time; you have to account for the 1.5 sec cast time, MP usage, party composition and playstyle, the encounter and it’s features, buff uptime. Maybe Bloodletter or Empyreal Arrow could restore the Bard’s MP. Or we could get an alternate Song Gauge weaponskill that trades the potency of Apex Arrow for personal MP recovery to extend buff durations
Much more exciting than making the entirety of the jobs playstyle about pressing a shiny sparkly button at random intervals. Bard has so little going on right now lol
Whm - Flood
Sch - Titania essentially a non ghosting Seraph with dmg/debuff skills
Ast - Meteor
Dnc - Transcendent Dance, powerful dance which causes debuffs to enemies
Brd - Music to the Ears, gain all 3 effects of brd songs for 30s
Mch - King Me, sacrifice current turret/queen for hefty dmg up.
For smn I'd like an ability that lets you have all 3 summons out at once just railing on mobs for like 15 seconds or so. Any use of egi assault would proc all 3 at the same time and if it could be gotten the same treatment for enkindle. xD
Otherwise the egi re-work to just rotate between demis constantly and each demi ending grants the aethertrail stacks. Then buff demi bahamut/pheonix and make bahamut single target focused and pheonix aoe oriented.
DRG - a super strong single target jump attack in full glorious effect
*edit* i just realized thats basically DRG limit break lol, you know what? just make our limit break a skill that we can use.
put it 300 seconds, heck put it ONE time use in every dungeon run, but it better have triple digit potency or else
BLM: Inner release clone. Imagine getting 4-5 guaranteed crits for your fire 4 cycle. Yum.

SMN "after reversing dumb shb changes" fixed pets or reworked "NOT to be Demis", a third demi if they can balance it and the next link to either elder summon or the summon summoner combination transform zenos teased, oh and bio tooltip to change to curses so that people stop calling as poison dot mages.
Oh and if we get Alexander make it be the perfect Alexander model. Oh and also stop trying to simplify this job everything about it says high risk high reward.

Dragoon: An actual gap closer that doesn't have an absurd cd. It would be a jump I bet though
Paladin:
Goring blade not requiring any combo to trigger the bleed effect.
Some type of 3rd button to combo with Prominence as a 3rd Finisher AoE button. Preferably something where the Paladin jumps in the air and drives his sword into the ground.
Holy Judgement: The Paladin summons the Guardian of Light to smite your foe. Single target. Give me that Angel thing from the Shadowbringers trailer to summon to crash into an enemy.
Light of the Protector: Summons a circle of the ground that is lit by the light of the Paladins heart to provide a 10% raid wide defense to anyone standing in the circle. Last for 5 seconds or so?

SCH rancor gauge builds as allies take damage, with everybody's grudge unleashed when full
RDM: Mastery trait that allows another VerFlare/VerHoly cast in the same combo.
DRK: return to the darkness: when used DRK will recover his heavensward gameplay flow permanently, scourge, dark arts, delirium (weaponskill) and shadow skin will be restored and bloodweapon changes will be reverted.

Monk : anything that's not a "burn up all your GL stacks" or "here's a 6th niche tool to maintain GL"

Monk's kit is such a mess right now I can't conceive a level 90 skill that could actually make sense. It needs a rework of bare minimum every action and trait it's received from like level 54 onward with the exception of Elixir field (this includes every aspect of its gauge) so that it actually has a cohesive kit that can be built upon rather than a dumpster fire where any addition is pretty much guaranteed to be flawed because it'll be built on a broken foundation.
Hmm.. Pretty open though I'm not too crazy about same skill repeat things (not wanting more cleave like mechanics, personally- though I can get why some people like em').
SMN: besides another demi, which is neat of course, perhaps new types of primal spells. Like I saw someone suggest Tempus which are huge one off spells, closer to the classic cinematic of old FF- the near t2-3 limit breaking someone's face off. Or perhaps, and honestly I'd still love a job based on transformations but, Demiurge, where you channel yourself into a primal-like form temporarily- perhaps Bahamut and Phenoix are graphically fused to create the Demiurge form which can help lore wise since both aethers you've access to anyways + all the new lore being able to smooth over the insanity of doing this lol. Visually no longer blue but like black gold and with fiery columns lancing off, and quadruple winged elements of phoenix and bahamut. Perhaps for one of the spells you can take out a large version of your equipped weapon (book obviously) to do some like triple Ahk Morn xD (looking at your book while as a giant fiery phoenix dragon). Takes your mage kit and punches it in the face with a temporary primal custom kit (like your revive could be replaced with a phenoix version that is oGCD / has cooldown deals aoe damage and is instant cast).
PLD: Would like to be able to weave clemency in sometimes without it being something that flips off the healer or kills your damage, but also don't want clemency to be changed completely (like add special mechanics and not just turning the whole skill into Aurora). Also I would like to see more holy judgement moves, big finishers but not used very often, and ideally less repeats where possible. Like perhaps calling a holy version of the spirits within zeus cannon (SE movie, though like from an angle slightly behind and above you like a holy crown in some iconography, perhaps through the shield as a focal conduit). Also I have the fantasy of tossing holy bolts like lightning spears from Dark Souls lol (/like zeus in greek myth media).

The 2.0 monk wasn't terrible... but the problem is that they created a job with little ability to expand unless they completely reworked it in Heavensward, which they did not. So I agree that nothing will help the job short of a complete overhaul next expansion. Greased Lightning is really what's holding the job back, and the mechanic needs to be reassessed, hopefully to make it function more like Enochian or Blood of the Dragon so that the job can expand and do more.
SCH : Sacrifice - Like dissipation but causes damage and boost ally DPS or increase enemy vulnerability. I think new fairy skill is overdue as well.
AST: Shooting star - Think meteor but with shooting stars ;)
WHM: I would really go with protect, just not how it was. More like a temporary team shield.
Curaga/ja seem like possible options as well.
DNC: Maybe a 2-option dance combo for Jitterbug / Mystery Waltz - Drains HP or MP from mobs and redistribute to team members
NIN: Rogue stance - disables all mudra for big potency increases to all melee skills
BLM: EXPLOSION - emphasis on caps. Or Flare 2.
Dragoon- Wyrmling pet a la FF11. I miss my little buddy :(
Black Mage- allow move and cast while laylines are down.
I finally want SCH to get Meltdown. They had it in XI, let them have it in XIV too. It could be another Aetherflow skill, maybe. Also, the community has been asking for more shields since 2.0, and we finally got some in 5.0, so why not give us another stacking shield as a faerie gauge spender, since we need more. I'd also like to see SCH get the gauge a bit sooner, 70 feels too late and tacked on at this point. And while SE is at it, fix it so that our capstone skills for 60, 70, & 80 don't prevent the use of the others.
