I often hope seen character like this discovery job like this

I remember Miq'ato who sister was inthrall by male Miq'ote I often hope she would become job quests giver for ranger

I think if what I just read was English, I may have an answer for you.

That's the /ballroomdance emote quest NPC right? Probably will never see her again since she goes off with someone at the end of the quest as an apprentice.

But who knows, though. Might make a cameo appearance or something in the next expansion if they're traveling the world and run into the DNC job NPC. And if, for some reason, she does appear; I doubt she'd become anything major considering she's from a level 10-15 quest for an emote.

I was feeling a bit bummed myself when I didn’t see her as part of the DNC starter quest because it would have been exactly what she was looking for. Unless she shows up later, but I’ll need to ask a friend who’s a DNC main. :p

she problem is one the students, one can hope. I hope she isn't killed while adventuring kind feel same way with adventure we saved who got cocky

I think if you're going to use any site's explicitly-labeled English forums, you ought to be able to write (and hopefully read) the English language to a passable degree.

If I tried to go over to the Japanese forums and make posts using the pittance of Japanese I actually know, I would fully expect to be mocked.

English is my first language I for the USA I was born with learning disability I mention many time in my threads I make

This forum has 4 languages when the game has players from countries that my not speak the language (apparently Spanish speakers on your server according to Canadane, which isn't an officially supported language.). That said, many can read English and other languages decently well, but may not be able to speak or write it fluently due to lack of practice or understanding of how a proper structure is in English as it relates to their native tongue (English is backwards to many languages with a lot of differences in sentence structure and grammar). If you ask me, it's unreasonable to mock someone over something so trivial.

And Savagelf is a native speaker I see. My apologies for assuming it was not your first language. That's my bad!

If person is neither Japanese, English, French or German speaker, then they don't have their own forums and ought to use something of these 4 options, whichever is most suitable in their case. It doesn't mean that poor English is openly welcomed or is easy to understand, of course, but being rude or sarcastic with people when English often is pretty much only available option they have for interaction at Forums (because they know at least some of it thanks to school) doesn't make those, that are mocking, better people.

Plus, as a non-English speaker, I can say that such attitude completely kills any wish to study language or talk to natives because it gives a very bad example. When there is a person that learns my language and is trying to speak to me in it, I try to understand them and ask additional questions if it's needed for clarification of what exactly the mean, not mock them. Not to mention that without natural practice (such as chatting at Forums) your writing skills will never be good. And how are they supposed to get better if the only response learner gets is jokes and trolling?

Hence why I welcome "nihongo jouzu" phrases from Japanese (since you mentioned them) - though they often can say it even if the only thing you said/wrote is "Hello", at low level of speaking it still gives a pleasant feeling and wish to do even better. Most people work harder when they are praised to recieve even more praise, not when they are mocked which much more often kills any wish to do anything rather than gives motivation to work more.

P'molminn sadly wasn't shown after completion of the quest ever since. She became an adventurer in the end, as far as I remember at least, so I hope she's doing well - it's a dangerous field of activity, after all. Maybe one day her path will cross with Dancers perfomance troop and she will join them. That would suit her.

first off I would like people not to point finger at each I understand my struggle with my writing disability I don't blame any of you for it. I understand it difficult to read why I am tried to write but if you like give me patient and give time figure out what I tried saying.

We see ARR characters so rare that when they show up I'm honestly sitting there trying to remember who are they at all. Still, I'm glad to see some of them occasianlly showing up in cities here and there (like a girl from Rogue quests, whose name I sadly don't remember, wandering in different areas of Limsa Lominsa and such).

XIV supports 4 languages, as you know the world doesn't have only 4 languages. And strangely players who want to communicate with other players strangely have to go to this place here even tho all of the 4 supported languages are not their mothertongue.

I can live with that.

Still think that if you're going to use a forum that explicitly says it's for a certain language, you should be able to reasonably communicate in that language. I don't particularly care about one's reasons for not being able to if the result is still an illegible/nonsensical post.

Actually, no, they don't have to use these forums. Nobody *has* to use these forums. FFXIV players exist and communicate elsewhere, too.

we haven't heard anything from K'rhid and K'lyhia since last class quest for arcanist and i would love to know what they have been up too since our last adventure

I was actually wondering about P’Molminn the other day when I started leveling dancer. I hope she makes an appearance eventually.

You can actually still find her! She's in Kugane on the bridge. :)

Edit: Nevermind, that's Ranaa Mihgo..

The problem with hearing back from P'molminn is that her quest is an entirely optional sidequest, and from the way this game handles ongoing characters, it's unlikely we'd see her again unless it's a story that can set the completion of the first quest as a prerequisite.

Perhaps if we got something like the Allied Beast Tribe wrap-up quest where you need to have done all three "dance quests" to unlock it...?

I'm definitely waiting for an update from those guys - and there's nothing stopping them from turning up in either the scholar or summoner questlines, especially since we've had plenty of other class-quest NPCs get involved in the subsequent job quests.

It's been years since I did that quest, but I do still remember P'molminn sometimes and wonder how she got on. Not sure why this one side-quest NPC stuck in my head but she did. Would give me a smile to see her pop up again not gonna lie.

Yes would love to see more of K'rhid and I'm this again. Especially with PLD, WHM and NIN quests making more use of their respective class quest characters I still hold out hope, we might see them in the 6.0 SMN or SCH quests.

You reminded me. I was a Lala when I did the DNC quests but am a Viera now, so when I found her in said spot the other day I couldn't believe how tiny Ranaa is!

Hah, I had the same kind of thing when I started playing Shadowbringers with my Elezen alt. The Exarch is a little taller than Aurelie so I hadn't given it much thought on my first playthrough, but he looks absolutely tiny next to Sylviel.

There are a lot of job quest NPCs it would be nice to see out in the world(haven't really looked much, but is the SCH one - don't want to really give any spoilers about it in case people haven't done it, but IIRC the NPC is from near, if not at, then end of the quests - wandering around anywhere?)

Exarch is minimum height, which makes him 159.2cm/5'22 if I remember counts right. I play with 6/100 height slider (160cm/5'24) and am just few... pixels taller than him. XD

I find it really awesome when older and obscure NPCs come back in the story later on, even if it sometimes takes me a while to remember them. Like, when the Ala Mihgan refugee came back in the DRK questline for Stormblood, that moment really got to me. I'd love to see more NPCs come back... We can always use our of power of the Echo to conveniently remember them, right? XD

Yeah, I'd looked that up a while back. I think his hood might add a little bit more to his apparent height though.

Aurelie is also minimum height (about 157cm for Midlanders) so yeah, just a tiny bit shorter. Sylviel is 202cm.
