Some hairstyles we've gotten are just recycled hairstyles with some bangs--- short/ spiky, unattractive, looks like a mop or like the character got into a fight with a pair of sheers & the sheers won.
-There are some Hairstyles available on the Mog Station- that are also short, but atleast they look decent ( Y'shtola/ Aymeric)
Maybe bring in a hairstyle pack? Alot of players are willing to modify their glamours for long hairstyles- so, no excuse to not have long hairstyles there- especially since there are alot of NPC's (ryne/ Gaia) who's hair clips often, so clearly there is no issue with creating long hairstyles there either-- so, SE; you can't say clipping is the reason for the lackluster/ boring hairstyles players get, instead of long tresses!
TL;DR - Please give us long hairstyles since clipping isn't an issue anymore due to NPCs having long hair that clips.

Yes to all of this, and to add to it, it would be nice to see some decent up-do's like a warrior bun with and without undercut, Fran's ponytail, Quistis' 90s twist, sailor moon buns etc.

No thanks. I'd rather have more short hairstyles. Men don't have many options for truly short hair. Maybe if they did a bunch in a "pack" or something, it could be 50/50. Half long, half short. And by short I mean like shaved sides and a little on top or something. Not mid length like Aymeric and Y'shtola.

Didn't the devs just give people long hair with this Expac?
IIRC we got the WoD hair and a long hair with the release of SB.
Then we got 1 hair for that hair design contest and now we're getting a 2nd hair from that contest (which players voted for lul).
Game doesn't give us new hair very often. Maybe they blew their long hair budget on Viera. -

On a sidenote: With my main being for years an Au Ra and following to that 2 years a Lala, I ended up using all the time a handful of hairstyles - since the majority of haircuts were too / just short in my opinion. And that thought hasn't changed while I toy around with my alts. Even with these magical Lalaheads that visually make even shorter styles a tad longer, I feel some cuts should exist in a longer version as well. -
