Can we get an expansion on the amount of slots we can use for decorations?

Hello!

I am a proud owner of both an FC Medium and personal Medium and I love both houses dearly, both as a personal achievement and an area for my FC members to gather and chill. As I've decorated both my personal and FC medium, the slots we have for Mediums (300) is not enough, and I can't imagine how hard it'd be for larges having 400.

Either I had to make 1 room look really good whilst the other 2 rooms look... medicore, or I can make 2 rooms look pretty good whilst the other is medicore, and finally I could make all 3 rooms medicore. I like being creative but I'd like to see expansions on mediums as 300 is simply not enough for me. I can see 400 working really well!

I'd like to see Mediums get 400 slots, whilst Larges get 600 slots. From personal experience, I don't think smalls need much expansion, but I have in the past hit 200 slots in my personal small whilst still needing just a little bit more, so I'd also like smalls to have 225-250 slots for a bit more leeway. I understand the technical limitations however with the recent server upgrades, I think I should ask this when the server is in a better state than its ever been in the past!

I can agree with this - I have a large that's 400/400 and 2 floors look great, but the basement has a lot of empty space :(
I haven't even started on the large for my FC yet - decorating and managing furnishing limits can be kinda daunting.

I got my large FC house when it was just 200 item limit for L house so I'm really grateful that the expanded it to 400 for L mansions (though it's still not enough), you just gotta place a lot more larger objects and keep it simpler and not as cluttered/detailed. It sucks but I think for now we gotta suck it up because YoshiP mentioned before that it takes a lot of server space.

Also would love a higher item limit. And also if they made it so we can freely place things ANYWHERE without having to resort to glitches. Just give us a "freeform" toggle so items wont snap to the ground and we could place it floating in mid air if we wanted. I really wanna do a nice loft area but knowing I will have to glitch so much of the furniture up there sucks. It's so needlessly time-consuming.

I'm pretty confident this won't happen anytime soon if at all, but just here to show my support for this idea. I'm behind it 1000% 400 spaces gets filled up...quick.

I just want more slots outside so I can make the most beautiful gardens.

That's very unlikely to happen since the outdoor decorations of all houses in that ward contribute to loading issues. It would take instanced housing for players to be able to go all out with outdoor decorations.

I won't say it will never happen, just unlikely and any increase will be too small to satisfy those who want to create great yards.

I'd love if they added 100 to the limit for apartments and each size house. I cant detail my apartment fully cause I am at the 100 item limit :(

Larges especially need more slots. They're over twice the size of a medium inside, but only have 100 more slots than the 300 slot medium. Very hard to make mansions look lived in. Which is why people tend to wall off sections of the mansions or even whole floors.

Agreed. I'm about 200/300 on the medium and only one floor is complete while the other two are more than half empty.

Should have gotten a small house instead.

I have a medium and was actually done after I set up 200~ items and then started running around to drop items left and right just to add details and to fill in the item slots. Personally I think 300 items is pretty good for a medium. I do agree however, that 400 is not enough for a large that has almost double size.

Lately a lot of people start custom builds on everything. I can agree on the items that we don't have - if you have a desperate need to have a fridge, a toaster or a telephone - however, when you want a full medium house only with custom builds - custom chairs, custom chandelier, heck - custom ceilings... Yeah, then you are running out of items quickly. I would love to see more builds that actually relay on the many items we already got from SE than just abandon them. :(

I would kill to have like ~50 more slots for my medium to be honest. I'm rather detail-oriented so my house could use a lot of bells and whistles here and there. It would be nice to have the free slots for holiday decorations without having to replace anything.

I have a small, and in currently riding 184/200 after my last renovation. Having 100 extra items would honestly be perfect, as I love collecting the plushies and a lot of the miniatures, like the airships and a few of the Primals. I don't have a lot of space left making it look good. And I'm in a small! Honestly, at least mansions need like 600 for the sheer size...

I am absolutely behind more slots. I try my best to split my items to an even 100 per floor (I have a medium), but it's a struggle. I respect loading issues, but I can't imagine an extra 100 across the board would be too harsh on the servers.

Though yeah, I feel for the folks who have mansions. I've decorated them before, and those things can echo. And you can forget details like tabletop items and such for the most part. Those guys definitely need a solid doubling of their slots rather urgently. 100-150 would probably do everyone else fine though.

I would honestly pay a gil sink just to gain access to more item slots for any/all decorating spaces. They keep adding more and more amazing items, but at this point, most of us don't have anywhere to put them without sacrificing other items we want/need displayed for our designs.

I 100% agree with this. I recently upgraded from a medium to a large and I feel like I have to be very careful to not add too many details :( It looks a bit empty and I've filled about 305 slots so far...

I didn't have as many issues when I had a small or a medium house. But it wouldn't hurt to add some more slots to those too

My solution was to wall off the entire bottom floor. Sure, it's a giant chunk of unused space, but I didn't want to feel limited like I did prior. :( I recently relocated so I'm slowly working on refurnishing.

You shouldn't have to wall off areas and I know that happens a lot with mansions. They need to add more slots. 200 slots for a small is pretty good but the mediums and large houses should have 400 and 600 to compensate for the much larger areas that require decorations.

I even did this with my medium after relocated there from a small. Then I used over 40 items to decorate the area where I walled off the stairwell and I was like "what am I even doing" lol. In the end it didn't actually save me that many items. I think it ended up looking pretty nice though! I can already see I'll run out of items before I finish. I'm at 180-something and I haven't touched to top floor.

300 for Small, 400 for Medium and 500 for Large. Just keep it simple with adding 100 more slots for each size. :o

30 for Small, 40 for Medium and 50 for Large. Add 10 more to each. :o

I'd rather see them do 200 across the board then. 500 slots simply isn't enough for a large. Otherwise I'd be cool with that!

I need at last 100 additional slots for my medium and 200 for our FC mansion.

I'm struggling with the 400 limit on mansions. If they could just increase the limit a little bit every patch to account for the edition of holiday items, that would be a great way to ease in the increase in data.

I'm support this too. Have to close up my basement cuz 400 items in a mansion is not enough. Accounting the special items here and here every new expansion/holiday... oof.. would like decorate my house every season but.. no way with this limit. No way.

I'd be thrilled if they increased the limit by 100 for everyone. Apartments, Cottages, Mediums, and Mansions.
