Hello. I play about 4+- months. And there are things that I don’t understand a bit.. I would really appreciate it if you could help me understand them.
Can i play invisible?
There were a couple of inexplicable incidents in the game:
- I started the main scenario from the very beginning with my friend. We needed to kill 5 mobs. But in this location, the invisible WHM (it seems like level 80), killed these mobs with one hit. He wrote in a general chat something like "go away little idiots. Go to school." These mobs spawn for a long time. And we just do not have time to run to just appeared. How is this possible?
- Another case. We stood at the entrance to the dungeon. A player with a nickname something like “dgsg dfdsfs» runs up to the NPC, stands next to him, moves away and disappears near the steps. Again, out of nowhere, the same player appears, dressed exactly like the previous one, but with different letters in the nickname, speaks to the NPC and dissolves in the air. And we have counted 14 such players. How can this be? Where do they disappear?
Are there any scrolls for walking through the air?
In the initial location of Thanalan, I saw a player who ran on a dais through the air. I did not find such a thing that would give me this ability. Completing quests would be much faster with this.
Home purchase
Only on the third day I finally got my house in Kugane. But I don’t like its location as much as in the second house.
I watched a video about buying a house. And turning on the movies in the little window, I sat for days, clicking on the sign. I sat and constantly clicked.. to the pain in my hand. I really wanted to buy this house, it was located by the sea.. a beautiful landscape.
I did not pay attention to battle classes, I like to craft. Collect something, etc. And I was glad to collect the required amount and finally buy the beautiful house with this money.
I stood by that house alone. And clicked on the poster. And then .. the player runs on the mount and immediately buys it. Is that such luck? Or the timer shows when this house can be bought? So I sat constantly clicking on the sign and it was all in vain? I do not understand..

I guess the player already had a House and just relocated, for that you dont have to wait, you can relocate a house any given time if the plot is free -

on the second point, those are also bots. they're macro'd to enter dungeons and farm gil that is sold elsewhere, which is also against the ToS. I've been playing for over 5 years and have made many alts, and I don't really run into too many bots or griefers like this, so I cant imagine its too common. -

thanks =) I was afraid that I missed something in this game.. there are a lot of things here, but I speak English not very well.. and in the game there is no way to switch all the menus and item descriptions into my native language .. sometimes it is difficult to find answers to my questions. This thread is a funny and ironic way to say that Square Enix might lose newbies because of bots doing stuff normal players can't and thus drive them away. Kudos to that and weird that people still explain calmly the obvious about bots and "no, that should not happen". This community is so friendly that they even overlook that in order to help and answer questions :)
I mean, walking trough stuff that is obviously a solid matter in the game (e.g. a brick wall) or trough the air is obviously not meant to be like that, or invisible players and other tool-assisted shenanigans are affecting potential new players.

And this was a cheating as well. I would notice, though, that in locations starting from HW up to ShB you can fly, but your Bard is 67 level I believe you already developed this. 2.0 Locations (those before Heavensward) aren't available for flying without 3rd party tools.Quote:

As the system works now, you don't need to wait for the timer you're relocating the house, which is what that player did, apparently. It's not a pleasant feeling to see how the house you want just goes away in front your eyes, but it's sadly often the same irl. XD At the other hand, with relocating that player freed another plot. Maybe that one you got yourself later. Also, since you have a house now, you can try your luck and get the plot you really want with relocating when they will add new wards, which will happen with 5.1. release.Quote:

As for buying a new house, it can be a bit tricky in this game due to the low amount of available plots on a server compared to the demand from players. There will be new wards opening up in each housing district on every server at some point after 5.1 comes out though. While these plots themselves will be only available at first for FCs and those who already have houses who want to transfer, this should also cause a fair amount of other plots from the pre-existing wards to open up. I'm not going to lie, it's still probably going to be pretty chaotic, but with a bit of luck and tenacity you might be able to score a nice plot. Even if it doesn't work out that day, don't give up! It can take some time, but as long as you keep at it I'm sure you'll get your plot. Good luck, and I hope you continue to enjoy the game!
