Thanks SE for adjusting Trust Companion's Exp gain by doubling the amount.
Now Players only need to focus on 1 Job to max 3 Trust companions to lvl 80 with each character will gain 1 level for a total of 3 runs (2 runs only for level up if enough exp is carried over)
Trust companions will end up leveling faster than your character if you don't have that extra 50% Blue exp bar bonus. :p
Now all remains is to add maybe some more interesting things into Trust system later.

I admit, I got three of them to 80 before this buff and it was hell to go through. I did a couple runs with the new double xp and it feels so much better. Now I actually want to do the trust system dungeon runs knowing that the NPC's won't be 2-3 levels behind me.

I leveled them without the buff as well and god, I'm so happy that I can level the others now without running Holmister at least 18 times. It was a pain (although I got a bunch of puppies) and I'm more than happy that this has been adjusted.

I didn't even know they buffed exp gains. Guess the next time I level a dps I might give it ago (probably not). Never actually used the trust system before, only heard bad things.

Though this is a easy fix by adding a new system that provide bonus to Trusts companions against certain enemies under certian conditions or Unlock new Skills or "Trust" passive bonus between the Player and Trust Companion if their "Trust" is at certain level.
Still as I said we are at the bare bone stage of the Trust System and SE can add things later that may improve Trust companions and gain special bonuses only by using Trust Groups such as maybe give Trust Companions their own LB such as Thancred gets LionHeart LB after completing his Trust Quest. -

That's not to say they can't expand it, but there's no guarantee they will. Future content could just continue to use the same party. -

As for the buff, i have not tried but if it is how you are all saying it was much needed.
Before changes i ran the first dungeon over 10X for sure before they finally made it to level 71.
Felt like a waste of time -
