A few improvements for the Dragoon Job, please.

In this weekend I've finished the MSQ of Shadowbringers with the WAR and start leveling up my secondary job DRG. And i've noticed few things that COULD BE BETTER for this job:
- Animation for the "HIgh Jump" skill (HJS further)
- Damage or CD for "Spineshattering Dive" skill (SDS further)

About HJS - it's animation is too short. Even regular Jump has a slower animation cycle that gives us the feeling of the action - you jump in, out, stand in stance, while the HJS is just - puff! - done. It's not right, it's the HIGH jump. More accurate will be to slow the animation a bit, or give some time after we jump and before we land, so it could feel HIGH.

About SDS - the skill has once a stun effect in it (if I remember correctly...) so it was ok for him to have greater CD than Jump skill and lower damage, but now it doesn't have it. Today it's just the damage and quite low: 240 potency, when even regular Jump has 310 AND it still has TWICE as much CD than Jump. Isn't that odd? I suggest to either lower the CD so we can use it as standart jump, or give it damage up or some buff/debuff so it could explaiin the longer CD with a lower potency.

Please don't draw too much attention to DRG. We're in a very good spot in terms of damage and utility this expansion so hoping and praying that they don't nerf us in any way, shape, or form, even if that means they don't buff us.

We are, but anyway those two things buggs me out. Especialy the High Jump animation. it's too short and unnoticable. Regualr Jump is more jumpy then High Jump.

At first, it really irked me too. But good riddance after being at 80 for four weeks. You REALLY don't want it to be a slower jump animation again. There is nothing like popping jump just before some orange hits the ground and you explode and die. You do this a lot less now with High Jump.

I share your concern, the DRG is my secondary job after all and I've died a lot like this and still - it doesn't have to be SLOW AF, it just have to be a bit slower. Or, in contrary, make the other jumps animations faster so it didn't stick out like now. It can be another option to tweak the problem.

High jump is cool.
It makes you feel like Luffy from One Piece.

Yeah no. We already have issues with Stardivers animation lock being way too long, we dont need more long animation locks. High jumps entire purpose is to be a faster version of jump. SSD is also fine, it serves its purpose as a gap closer/ogcd. Dragoon is in the best spot its ever been in.

From a casual part time dragoon: I did think it was odd that that didn't give a Disembowel refresh on the AOE combo like Monk got with TwinSnakes.

? This is a troll thread right? That's gonna be a no to high jump animation being longer. We complained for years about animation lock and they finally gave us high jump in all its improved glory... Just in time to also give us Stardiver with its bundle of issues.

If you want to play with slow jump, run synced down content. You'll get the old jump back.

Edit: Actually I could agree with the potency increase on SSD, since they took its stun and it no longer gives eye stacks. But it also has been lining up pretty nicely with boss jumps in savage so far as a free gap closer that also does damage, so there's that.

And to explain my stance above a little better: No dragoon (that I can think of) who has lived with the old animation lock jump in end tier content wants it back. it was pain. It was death. It is a MEME.
