The fix is finally in here, and it is amazing, now I can hear the BANG sound of the Gun like in intro movie!

Except now the sword part just sounds like you're hitting stuff with a stick or something. I wouldn't call it a fix.

Yeah... except it sounds like I’m hitting things with a baseball bat. Not a blade. Personally, I think the old sound effects were better, and don’t really understand why this was changed.
The explosion sound is good now is what people need, but I don't like the slashing sound now the old one is far better impact so the next change is keep this explosion sound and revert slashing sound back to the older one DONE!!
Keep the sounds on the new/current cartridge spending abilities and continuation, and revert the sounds for the solid barrel combo.

Change back to our old keen edge combo and blasting zone. Then I'll be happy. Right now we're hitting things with what sounds like a stick, and its bad. At the same time, I know we want better explosion sounds, or louder ones... But if you make EVERY move sound with the same explosion impact sound.... It loses meaning for the bits that should feel nice. Imagine if every WAR had every skill sound like fell cleave or BLM sound like Foul. That "MMPH" goes away because that's already every other sound for every other skill now... so it loses its value/power/feel. Less is more, people need to be content with their lot at some point here, I hope SE doesn't leave it like this even though they just redid it.... If they leave it, it'll be a bad time to be a GNB main.
I find the issue quite awful as someone who relies on audio queues. It is enough to make me want to leave the job and I very well like the combos and skills it has. It's just that when you hear a sound that is heavier than an axe/greatsword and has no audible "clang", in battle, there is an issue. I highly encourage people not only to speak out here but also in the game via suggestions.
Also when doing the combos recently all I hear was bat swooshing sounds and what seemed like I was casting fire. Is that what this new job is now? gunbatter?
These audio changes were an overall downgrade unfortunately. Only the cartridge abilities improved and even then, the explosions overwhelm the slashing sounds. Turn it down a hair and reverting to some of the audio from before would be ideal.
I am not satisfied at all with the new Gunbreaker sound effects. They sound more like you're hitting with a blunt weapon than a blade.
Honestly the new sounds are horrible. Very muffled and doesnt even sound like a gun or a blade.
Please change it back SE.... please? :(

Have to agree on this one. I'm absolutely disappointed with the sounds. Why change it anyway? They sounded just fine! Instead fix the WHM sounds! You can hear them all over the place each time they heal O.o

bring back the old slashing, please, this doesn't even sound like a slashing weapon
Keep the explosive move sound effects, but revert the sword move sound effects. It sounds too much like a blunt club, and not a sword. It's off-putting.
I'm more or less fine with the new explosive sound, even if I prefer the old one better. But everything else I feel was superior in the older SFX.
How bad are your ears honestly, OP, if you think the new sounds are better than the old ones? SE took away the slashing sound of the sword, and they muffled all of the explosions. This was such an unnecessary change.
they changed the sound they make but not the size?
Please fix the slashing sounds.. now it sounds like im hitting a cardboard box with a wiffle bat.
