For your first
He does remember, he's just pretending not to at the start. Likely so it doesn't come out at some point that he's not even from that Shard... and the whole Source and Reflections thing in the first place.
The second that's explained by completing the Crystal Tower raid story
In short, he already had the Allagan Eye which came with the "blood of Allag", and only one with it could operate the Tower. Doga and Unei give theirs to G'raha Tia, giving him the second Allagan Eye.
The title of your thread alone is a spoiler just fyi.
Skipped passed the OP as I don't want anymore but just had to say thanks for the spoiler you put right in the title. Sweet.
im sorry everyone, just let the thread die off so i wont bumb up anymore, i remove my question so nobody can read anything
There is nothing about it that is a spoiler, just fyi.Quote:

He does remember, but he keeps his identity a secret because he doesn't want the hero and the rest of the Scions to know who he is so he doesn't risk them discovering what he's got planned to end the events that would bring the 8th umbral calamity and try to stop him, or deter their attention from their mission on Norvrandt. He also wants to avoid the whole explanation of where he's from to the rest of the citizens of Norvrandt so it doesn't cause disruption or give the enemy reason to attack him and the rest of the citizens of the Crystarium and anyone associated before the Warrior of Darkness could arrive and liberate the star from the Lightwardens.Quote:
So theres one thing i didnt quiet understand or Im confused a bit - so the crystal guy is G'raha Tia - but he doesnt remember (?) is it because hes at the first so long that he just simply forgot? Also why did one of his eyes become red, one was green before.
Actually, the title is, because
it implies that he is related to or is involved in Shadowbringers. Something that one would have no reason to expect if one kept away from trailers, forums and other info. Given the fact that OP had a specific lore q about him, it also suggests he has some importance.
So yeah, it is a spoiler.
That's not quite accurate. He was awoken in the future of the Source, and directly involved in the plan to transport the tower through time and space to the First.
See the cutscene from 'The Unbroken Thread' where he explains the entire story to Urianger, and read the datalogs in the Twinning dungeon.
I agree with the others - particularly for someone who has played CT and recognises the character name, it's inherently a spoiler to know that information about him will somehow be relevant to Shadowbringers.
Asking a "lore question about the Exarch" would be better because that is a character name linked with the story from the start, and there's no prior association with it.
So what? It says no actual plot details about the character or what the character does in the story. If you never even did Crystal Tower (and therefore would have no clear indications about who the mystery character actually is), the name "G'raha Tia" would mean absolutely nothing to you anyway.Quote:

Come on ppl we called him like the moment we saw the vid, even before he was amog the ppl we suspected for being the voice calling us...
If you've done CT, that gives enough context to know who G'raha is and that he should be having a big 'ol nap under the crystal tower right now. The very tower right smack in the middle of the main Shadowbringers hub. Doesn't take much to connect the dots even with that one small bit of information.
I mean, I heavily suspected we'd be seeing him in this expansion, but it wasn't confirmed until it was confirmed. So yeah... I'd call it a spoiler.
Which like, (and this isn't directed at you) why bump this thread when the op deleted their question because of the spoiler in the title lol
Doesn't matter. Some people either didn't guess or weren't sure. Heck, I know at least one person who didn't watch the CT cutscenes and so couldn't have seen it coming - and has now gone back to learn more about who he is.
So it's not a huge spoiler, but it is a spoiler.
But then people would know that the SB2 story features a character called the Crystal Exarch. They'd know his name and everything. Obviously a spoiler, if we're to follow the same sort of logic (which I personally don't)Quote:
I know it's obvious and all, but still it's easy enough to use "Exarch" in the title and it wouldn't even be debatably a kinda sorta spoiler.
Yes it does.
Assuming we did CT, one could remember him going into CT, and
the CE becoming part of the CT here in SHB, you can pretty much but 1 and 1 together.
It's a spoiler.
That's like putting Hachterfrant (sp) in the title and put (Shb spoiler)
would could imply he's back or something related to him.
A lot of us has done CT before this expansion lol.
Also not a spoiler. Spoilers are directly stated plot/character details, not inferences/speculations that you're guessing at.Quote:

But it doesn't connect back to anything. You'll know there's someone in the story called "the Exarch", which is meaningless until you meet him in that story. Whereas G'raha Tia is a pre-established character from a previous storyline.
Regardless of whether the thread title is appropriate or not, knowing that "the Exarch" is a character in Shadowbringers does not equate to knowing that G'raha Tia will be returning to the story in Shadowbringers.
By comparison in the past,Lyse's name and face is all over promotion for Stormblood, and I never connected her to Yda.
It doesn't really matter if people theorized it was him, or if it was obvious. I thought it was him the moment he showed up in the trailer. But there was always the chance SE would subvert our expectations and reveal in the story the Exarch is someone else. It was a small chance, and didn't happen, but the title is still spoilery regardless.
It could literally have been a question along the lines of "what's happened with GT if the CT is on the First" or something similarly vague. You don't know any implications or anything unless you actually click the thread.
I could use the same thread title with Minfilia replacing GT, and according to all of you it's automatically a spoiler despite you having literally zero context to the content in question. Get over yourselves, I stand by my earlier comment of no context, no spoiler.
Aeris dies.
Ok on one hand, minfilia is already in the trailer so no it isn't the same.
I see your point, but it does edge darn close to unfortunate territory because anyone tabbing in assuming it were a question that innocent - maybe who had that very question - would've instantly been smacked with the real spoiler because the op also wasn't spoiler tagged. On them for clicking in I suppose, but still. If you didn't know we were gonna see G'raha, you'd have no reason to assume that the spoiler was anything more than the fact that CT is on the first xD
But whatever, whole debate is pointless. OP got their answer and deleted their post so *shrug*
