It's just the moon... no big deal...

This cracks me up....

The moon has become a flaming ball that's quadrupled in size....
and all of Eorzea seems to really just not care
Its not some secret between Cid and Legatus Darnus anymore....

the frikkin thing is enormous...

and no NPCs really seem concerned

Seems like that would be a big deal if the moon was all of a sudden half the distance closer to you

I thought it was a bug resulting from 1.21.

I was thinking maybe it was Meteor coming to destroy the planet again, or something like that.

Yeah the lack of caring does somewhat take the feeling of impending doom away from the game.

I wouldn't say NPC's aren't bothered about it, there are some that talk about it and plenty of quests related to it.

Just to be clear, I am not complaining... I actually dont think the Eorzean reaction is a bad thing. In a way, it makes sense.
Eorzeans are so self absorbed, they dont even notice the world ending around them.
They are so into whats going on with them... so interested in amassing wealth, or being better than the other city states, or furthering the pursuits of their respective guilds that they fail to notice that it really could be out with a bang, and not a whimper after all

i swear i saw it shake like in majora's mask i thought it was messed up so i waited again for it and it happenned like 3 times but then stopped i dunno but i saw it my camera stood still and everything else moved and shook slightly

yea... there are a few quests... but remember FFVII? Every single person you talked to in the game (after the meteor was summoned) referenced the giant meteor heading towards them.
Even people who didn't like each other were putting aside their differences with the apocalypse looming

on that note about npc's, anyone seen alfgar since patch :(

Can you imagine the pandemonium if that really happened? There would be riots and looting and rape....

Considering the moon is getting bigger...I think it would be hilarious if in every major city there was one crazy NPC literally running through the streets spouting something like "the world is going to end! Dalamund is going to squish us!" Even better if the NPC issued some cheesy side quest with a limited edition joke item (like a Tin Foil Hat or something). Someone send Hildebrand to investigate!
