I'll be real with you. I feel so bad for the dev team right now. Here they have crafted (what, in my opinion, is) the best iteration of WHM ever in the game, and people are shitting on it left and right.
I played this game as WHM for a full 24 hours yesterday and I think what they've done is brilliant. I won't go over a full analysis of it but at level 75 it is very satisfying.
I just feel sad, because I know it's only a matter of time before it gets changed. The devs are really good about listening to feedback but I worry they'll quickly change what they've been developing for 2 years and it'll hurt the job in the long run.
I should probably enjoy this game while I still can....

So it's not like a bunch of players can go "Omg, WHM's healing numbers while dpsing are amazing while SCH and AST can't even keep up in either department!" unless there's data on their end that backs this up.Quote:

Who's really moaning about WHM though? Of the 3 jobs it's clearly come out the best at least as far as early progression goes.
Don't get me wrong, I miss Aero III but and if I had a genuine gripe, taking DS/Largesse from us and repackaging it as our 80 ability is a bit tightfisted.
I'll agree that it should be the best iteration of WHM yet, however there's definite room for improvement which hopefully will come down the line. -

To be honest, I didn't feel much differences with WHM. My husband's a main WHM and he just said "well, they removed some spells but otherwise it feels the same".
I am by no mean a hardcore player so I don't care about meta or whatnot, so I can't say for savage stuff and all, but otherwise it's still nice to play. :) -

WHM's are fine the way they are now. Aside from a few missing skills, they came out unscathed compared to the other healers. There's still room for improvement for the job itself, but otherwise, it's fine.

Honestly I felt the same about Scholar to start with, it could maybe use some adjustments but generally I didn’t find myself disliking it.
After seeing the forums and reception though, I’m starting to seriously regret choosing it now that I see the countless Scholar threads about how awful and terrible the class is and how anyone who enjoys it is just plain bad.
I’d love if they worked on making Scholar more of a utility oriented healer rather than just green dps, but I’ve given up now. Your opinion doesn’t matter if you’re the minority, so I’ll probably just jump to Dancer like everyone else once I get it to level 70 -
