NIN Shukuchi: Please eliminate the max distance penalty

Set the target point a tiny bit too far, miss the color change, and it does NOTHING, and you die in the AOE.

How about just making your character jump as far as possible toward the target point if it's outside max range? If it's closer, you jump to the target.

Within max distance:
Me-----------TARGET-----------MAX
Move >>>>> HERE

If over max distance, it should do this
Me -----------------------------MAX-------TARGET
Move >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>HERE

Not this:
Me -----------------------------MAX-------TARGET
Move - Nowhere.

It would be really nice if the ground target indicator would leash to its max distance even if you move the cursor out of range.

Actually, that might be better, so that you can see where you will land, even if the cursor is too far out. Anything but just failing as it does now.

I would love this QoL change if it were to happen.

Do we know if it's still a ground-target? I just assumed they'd make it work like the DNC rush thing.

This would be fantastic.

Its not only 2 charges anymore...
The Reset on 2-Mudra Ninjutsu Trait is also at work.
Maybe it will reset even with Kyosho. Given the incredible amount of shukuchi we could use, I really would like a faster and way more reliable way to use it...

I saw it used in a 5.0 video. It still has the target color change at max range, and probable fail if too far.
Note: The reviewer took a long time trying to feel out the range, which is the same for me, and why I don't use it to get out of large AOE's.
The few times I tried, it took too long to find the distance, or had it fail, so I got blown up anyway. It's more reliable to just sprint out, then use it to jump back into melee range sooner. No risk there.

Im game for EITHER changes. Both are great QOL ideas.

This is ESPECIALLY infuriating during pvp. Yes Ive learned to do it super fast still from motor memory in pvp but still, those few extra inches I cut out MATTER.

I honestly didn't suggest it in hope that they would be adding it soon anyway. But no. I feel it's the first things that comes to mind after using the skill, I really can't understand how they didn't thought of that QoL. Like, seriously...
