To go into the last Zenos duty at minimum ilvl as SCH and see if it's even possible to DPS down the 3 swords only using Bio II and Broil II. Just want to make sure they are not gating new healers with their "new healer friendly" changes.

Yeah, it does 999,999 damage if you fail.
yeah you die but you get the echo bonus after a bit.
As for OP... I beat it with a AST at min ilevel and lets be honest thier kit is worse than scholars is going to be.
It was easy for me, but watching my friend do it as SCH, at i360, it left absolutely no room for error. (Doesnt help he had an i350 weapon)
Absolutely had to make sure he didnt accidentally have chain/cleric on CD, and had to swift cast for one of the AoEs he needs to dodge, while spreading DoTs, he needed 3 stacks up, while being able to aether flow right after he uses his 3 energy drains.
if he stopped to dodge at any point, he fails the DPS check. if he starts a cast after moving by 0.1s, and it interrupts his cast, he failed the DPS check.
if his fairy doesnt heal him through some of the stuff (i forget what was going on, but he had to eat soem AoEs in order to keep casting) because it wasted some CDs earlier, or is randomly slow to heal him, he might die, but if he stops to heal himself with a lustrate, he fails the DPS check.
he did it repeatedly, until he did it 'perfectly' and still didnt do enough DPS. (I watched him perfect his run, there were no flaws in his play)
the last 3% or so HP wasnt able to be cleared in time, and the only 2 things he didnt do, was put materia in every slot (i think he had 2 pieces of materia, and that was it) and then pop a MND potion.
With a MND potion, and materia in, he failed the DPS check, but the very next run, finally cleared it with the same perfection run.
so its possible atm, but depending on factors like, "are your accessories primarily making up your iLv?" it can be a pain in the butt. if he had an easier access to a weapon (having just gotten to Lv70, and rushed his iLv up to enter the fight, he didnt have the best gear, nor weapon, since weapons take longer to farm up.)
with i400 weapons being easier to grab, even at min iLv, this would make the fight much easier, I would imagine.
Actually, with the removal of Energy Drain and Lucid giving, what was it, 2-2.4K mana; I'm also worried for SCH (and maybe AST too) running out of mana by the time they reach that phase. Imagine having to sit around for 30 seconds dodging mechanics to get mana back because you used it all DPSing just so you could get to that point in the first place. What a slap in the face that would be.
This post forgets something though: A player who gets to this point by the time New Game+ is out most likely also owns Shadowbringers, meaning their level cap is above 70. Meaning they are most likely going to be 71-73 by the time they get to this instance, which will do a good bit to increase their chances.
Yeah, some people really are overstating the DPS loss of SCH there... if ASTs can do as they are now, SCHs will be able to as well since they are still stronger in the DPS department. Also, as others stated, the Echo exists in this kind of trials, so you will clear it eventually.
You need to consider the bigger picture though. If you come in this instance with min iLvl, it's your choice not to have geared up in whichever way the game is offering you all along. You have a dungeon that give 375 iLvl gear, tomestones accumulating for iLvl 390 gear, raids for 380 gear, 24 man raid for 390 and upgrading 390 into 400...
Don't try to sneak some consideration on general healer balance out of this particular restricted self challenge. :)
