Remove Selene as an option for SCH and give those abilities (specifically Fey Wind & Fey Caress) to WHM with a different name and some improvements if needed.
This would give WHM an AoE Esuna & AoE Haste buff for some group utility, since both are currently underutilized by SCH, and really should have been given to WHM from the start anyway. I’d imagine this would also be simple to implement and balance around.
Based on what I’ve seen, the only time SCHs use Selene (if at all) is for their opener, then they immediately switch back to Eos anyways. So the majority probably won’t notice any difference if they suddenly can’t use Selene. Either way, they aren’t losing much compared to what I think WHM would gain from this.

Honestly: Whatever changes have been decided on for the healers are already set in stone. There's no changing them at this point, we're just waiting for the announcements in a little less than 2 weeks to find out what they are.
WHM does need utility to be competitive, but suggesting they just move over 2 underutilized abilities from another job... yeah, that's not how you fix white mage. -

Besides, we could just as easily BE getting similar abilities already. WHM is one of the target classes for the bigger portion of the reworks/balancing iirc.

What changes are you talking about? All I’ve seen is them talking about healer balance being difficult, which is the same thing they’ve been saying for years. You make it sound like they’ve suddenly solved this problem and are implementing changes tomorrow (or 2 weeks) or something.

Healers need weaknesses that the strength of another healer compliments. That is balance. If the devs just give WHM all this utility to bring them up to the level of SCH and AST, then we basically just have three healers that essentially play the same. When a job has no weaknesses, it's OP.
Wiloh, I am completely on board with your suggestion. My worry is the devs are still going to fiddle around with heals and potencies, which won't fix anything. -
