Why are you transferring?

Post any specific reason why you are transferring servers.

I can't think of many besides being EU, so just curious.....

Sensible reasons preferred.

Nonsensical are ok tho too.

Some ppl from our country end up in another server from the start ,
since they don't know that most of ppl agree to go on one server
so they decide to transfer over to that one to be with others that's from same country.

I moved because I wanted to join DrMog (and the gang), also my friend who helps me build xivpads is on Mysidia which is being auto merged with Istory (drmogs) so it worked out nicely for him and I can join him. I loved Istory while I was on it briefly, so I am happy to move there.

Thats my reason!

I didn't know all RPers were on Besaid when I rolled on Mysidia - still waiting for the chance to move to Balmung.

Pretty much the same reason as Kasenai, my character is as old as the servers are ;p so I dont want to just delete her, and I would like to move to Balmung for the friendly Rping community, beign a light RPer myself.
To be honest though, if I can not move, I am ok with it as well, Mysida (choose it for FFIV being my favorite FF) will become Gungnir, the weapon of my all time favorite character Kain Highwind (reason why I love Dragoon) so it will still have a special place in my heart (yeah sappy I know).

If your planning to go there to RP should try promote it, the RP on Besaid is pretty dead unless you're in a LS which does it quitely/privately.

It was fun on release, and was very popular and big, now I never see it.

In FFXI, one reason I would have changed would have been to be part of a solid established pet LS. But with FFXIV there's not really a need for any such specializations yet.

However, my favorite all-mithra LS from FFXI on Shiva has reassembled on Fabul > Balmung and I'm somewhat tempted to go join them! :D Kitties FTW!

I'm not moving, but I'll join in the fun and tell why I'm staying. I think some RPers will liven up the server. I'm looking forward to seeing conversation in /s even if they are 'weird'. I'm sure that I'll join in the fun occasionally. Also, my LS is pretty established on Fabul, staying makes it easier to keep everyone together.

I don't want to tel their name in the forums but ill tell you in game. They used to shout for members in uldah over a year ago when they started. It was all Japanese but someone in the shell translated it.(hope they did a good job).

LS failure over the last year, I have played with most on my server and just getting tired of seeing all the same people, PLUS. Trabia has a big LS war going on with 4 end game LS's where they talk smack about everyone else's LS's.(HA) I dont mind playing solo but most NA peeps know me and have seem my LS flag and dont PT with me based on that alone.

Where did you get that from? Yet to see an all out LS war(s) @_@ Might become interesting if it did.

To find a fresh pool of NA players looking for a solid LS and to get away from the massive JP crowd that isn't helping our numbers. Also have gotten a handful of ppl interested in joining us from other servers so this gives us a meeting ground where we all feel as awkward!

Wait, really? Get away from JP crowd? Thought you guys were saying you were coming to Gungnir on FFXIVPro... o_o Just Mysidia is like, you see 1 NA/EU every 9 JPs or so lol and doubt Istory is that much different from what I heard. xD

I'm transferring my GF's char to my server so we are both on the same server. Still can't play together cuz both chars are on the same account but it's still cool to have us both on the same server.

Ridill still has a ton of NA/EU players who aren't going to rag. Any server will have jps cept rag, its their game.
