I just finished watching the English key note - thank you so much for continuing the game I love, thanks Koji and Matt for translating and commentary.

You keep going and I'll keep playing!

Here's the English restream with Koji and Matt commentating. Be warned early on they have some mic trouble but like 15 minutes into the key note their mic's are up to a more acceptable volume.

Unfortunately I cannot main one because I'll always be a scholar at heart, but this is definitely going to be my DPS of choice.

Though I do hope they touch up the ronso textures just a little bit so it looks more like fluffy fur, overall I'm in love with them though.

I WAS planning on switching to Viera, but then they said no. However I’m so glad that you could get what you wanted even though many of us are completely disappointed.

Despite my severe disappointment over not getting a healing class, and no female Hrothgar, I'm impressed with and excited for all of the actual *content*.

Are you? You're the one who can't seem to comprehend that people have a different opinion than you do.

Personally, I loved every single thing the keynote had to offer. Hrothgar are something I've wanted in this game since launch, and the direction of dancer looks awesome. Also no male viera means I won't have to see very many of them as someone who detests the race, so that's also a plus. But I am sorry for people who were looking forward to it.

Did you know what the word hypocrite means? Just wow... You talk about respecting ppls opinion, expect anyone that dosen' t like what's in the new expansion. And their just negative and aren't allowed post according to you.. Stop harassing me and other players that every right to comment here on things they disagree with... Half the stuff you're trying to say, you're just making up.

Well that's the thing. When Ronso were hinted at, I immediately hoped I could make a female one as she would fit another particular story character of mine perfectly. Especially if I could give her dreadlocks. Oh, one can dream.

However, when it was revealed there weren't any female Ronso, I didn't get angry. When they revealed Dancer was DPS, I also didn't get angry. I don't look at this game (or any other) as one I specifically own. I am not a developer. I didn't create it. Sure, I can give suggestions and voice my opinion, but at the end of the day - we the consumers are not privy to what the developers have in mind. This is their game, their story. All we can do is voice our concerns and - if it's in their power - hope they can acknowledge said concerns.

I do hope female Ronso (and sure why not, male Viera) eventually come around. It could potentially happen. We don't know the future. However, I'm not going to blast Squeenix, Yoshi-P, Shadowbringers, or FFXIV in general for this particular decision. Hell I'm just as happy staying Miqo'te. It's both a big deal and not to me. Sounds weird but at my age I just don't really have the desire to get angry over everything that doesn't perfectly go my way. (not saying you are; just giving my personal opinion). Give me a good, fun game. Explain your decisions. Do those things, and I'm happy. So far, seems that's exactly what they're doing.

I feel like people seem to think every "negative" decision devs make is to spite them. Not at all. In a perfect world I'm positive they'd give us everything we want. Happy customers = more money after all. But this isn't a perfect world. Technical difficulties can occur. Too much manpower needed in too little time. Remember - this expansion isn't just the new races and the new class. And I do vaguely remember Yoshi himself stating it can take upwards to a year to get just one new job from the drawing board to the game. And I'm positive races can be just as if not more complicated.

So when I take all of that into account - I just can't get "angry". I have no real reason to.

@FoxyAreku Ignore them. I got curious and looked at their posts. The vast majority of them is bashing people that are enjoying the game. They're just trying to flamebait. Not even worth acknowledging.

Man, everything you say is just a hypocritical statement. You come in here bashing people who are happy, calling it fake, and then when the tables turn on you and you get called out you say we're the ones doing that? Lol. Get out of here.

I had some disappointments like a lot of people, but one small thing barely anyone noticed just completely made the expansion for me - Minifilia is available as a "trust" NPC. :3
