Bunny Fates and their RNG...

I am farming these fates for 7 hours now. Got like 5-6 bunnies at most. 2 silver chests and rest are bronze.

Soo... this is your idea of fun?

Bunnies are rng. Chests are rng. Chest contexts are rng.

I don't wanna mention going back and forth around those 2 fates for 7 hours without any gold chest either...

Eureka isn't bad. What makes it bad is SE's rng system. Idk how this can be fixed but it just isn't fun, and after some point it is frustrating.

In my servers no one's farm NMs because they're not interesting. All of us are farming damn bunnies to get the last offensive/defensive... Fates in Pyros are dead until they fix offensive/defensive. So no 6th magicite, no pyros crystals nor light (bunny does not drop them). Pyros Eureka is too much easy to level up. friendly Fate farming, but to reach at 50 logos there is no progression. just a blockage. I think RNG bunny are a bug. No one did bunnies at that scale back in Pagos so never appeared?

And thats all. My priority is to end logos. Then i gonna think about my second relic or my magic board.

Bunnies and Offensive/defensive. fix it please.


PD: I've farmed bunnies with 3-4 party alone in a dead server all time out. two times. I got more than 100 chests, only 1 gold. The gold ratio is insane.

I'm pretty burned out from bunny rng and just stopped doing them, but as much as I understand the issue... what exactly would be the solution?

The content is only 4 days old, should we really expect to get every rare mount, minion, hair and logograms within 4 days of a patch supposed to last 3 months?

First do not limit bunny spawn rate from bunny fate per population in instance. If you get gold, you should get a bunny.
Second, do not only one method to get offensive/protective in whole eureka.

Perhaps the amount of bunnies released is based on the total amount of boxes available? I don't think I've seen anyone get the same box as me from the same set of bunnies. There are around 20-30 spots for the beginner bunny, and I've not seen someone dig up a box that was the exact same as mine from the same set. I could be wrong. I have seen people dig up the ones near me but those are separate boxes. Would sort of make sense if there was only 1 bunny for each box with how it's so random when there are a lot of players, but once you go under the amount to like <20 at the FATE, everyone gets one.

If that's the case they would have to change the boxes as well since it would have been done intentionally to limit the amount of items/gil coming out of them every 15 min.

On a full instance about 100 ppl go bunny fate, that would be like 25% chance for a bunny. After that u have about 5% for a gold chest... Yeah its a lame right now.
Only if u have the luck to get to a death instance its worth teying whitout raging

If you are frustrated then don't do it. Problem solved. The content was not designed so you could get what you want in one day of farming. This is an MMO.

What frustate most is see ppl that is sitting on entrance and then go bunny fate just for xp and then see them go back to entrance whit the bunny and u that wanted to go get that chest dont get.

Putting the mount in bunny chests was an incredibly stupid idea. Bunny fates should only reward logograms...and in much larger quantities than they do now.

I could kind of understand why they would put the mount in the chests, to give it a sense of difficulty to obtain. I mean the amount of T-rex mounts I got from Anemos with the lootboxes was just ridiculous, and the worst thing is I couldn't even put them on the MB, so it did feel a little too easy getting them you know.

Personally they should of just made the mount purchasable with crystals from the gear merchant after completing the Logos Action log. SE should at least guarantee us something for putting up with Eureka....

For some reason you and many others think LUCK or RNG means Difficulty though. Being lucky has nothing to do with difficulty. Most people have no issue with something taking time to accomplish (being grindy) the problem lies with SE using rng for this and all rng does is worry people thinking they might never get lucky RNG does not guarantee IF OR WHEN that you get what you want, which is the main problem here. We pay sub fees to have fun playing a game....not to gamble for luck on things. This gamble mentality needs to leave gaming. There is no reason another more guaruntee-able method cannot be used while also keeping the content active or time consuming. There are always other methods and options and SE apparently does not want to take them. Being lucky with RNG has nothing to do with rewarding someone for their efforts or being difficult.It is not rocket science to be able to understand why most of the base is unhappy with SE's latest direction with these things. As someone who has worked long and hard on eureka and hasn't had a single bit of luck yet i know how it feels when someone who hasn't worked much for something got lucky, and to the people who keep saying "if you don't like eureka then don't do it". Well we would follow that advice IF SE DIDN'T GATE OUR RELICS (content we like) behind eureka (content that we do not like) The problem is that SE is not giving us OPTIONS. Only one path and a bad path most would argue. Eureka had potential.........but i feel like SE just doesn't want to listen to good feedback anymore.

I think you misunderstood a little what I mean as I'm not stating the difficulty is in the RNG, but it's actually in participating in the Conflict and going on the journey to find the chest. It's risky for solo players and maybe for small parties as well, I mean that risk of having to go in an area populated by high level mobs only to be left with an exp penalty because no matter how many times you shouted, you were so out of range no one cared to come rez you. Yea the rng needs to stop. Specifically rng that is gatekeeping relics, stats, or gear. It’s so absurd, and just really upsetting to a lot of people, and sours an otherwise improved pyros.

Is this confirmed? I've not seen anyone say they gotten one this way, but that would be much easier than the bunny fate farming. You can do Signha at night and get about 8 to 10 heat boxes every 30 chain.

All I can say is that I no longer feel happy when I complete a relic step. I feel exhausted and frustrated. This honestly feels like SE took a page from EA Battlefront 2. Everything from the high grinds to excessive RNG gates for the most desirable items. They even implemented gambling like mechanics via the stats re-roll in Pyros. I've even held off my o10s clear just to get the armor but I'm stuck since I can't get offensive logorams. Just poor design all around and for what? Just to keep people subbed longer? that's disappointing. FFXIV is better than this but it only aims for mediocrity or falls short on its execution or both. Very sad indeed but I guess SE is getting their money so no need to change anything.

Think you have about 5% chance getting a bunny. I did 8 of them other night and didn't get one bunny from them. Rng way to high to them. Don't get how part of your party gets a bunny and others in it don't. When your there from start and same level as them. Seen one's show up at last stage to it and get a bunny when others that's been there since start doesn't get one. How is that fair.

- Wanted items are locked behind multiple rng waves.
- Diadem had a token exchange for minions, mounts, materials etc.
- If no RNG, then you would get the items at some point.
= Same fate as Diadem, Eureka would die after weeks. Now you know why its behind multiple RNG.

If you have to force people to continue the content or else it dies, then it sucks and deserves to die. Besides, it's backfiring - just because there are full instances doesn't mean "a lot" are doing it, if they were there wouldn't be so many folks unsubscribing and they wouldn't feel the need to keep "nerfing" the content to make it more palatable. A handful of 144-people instances out of the tens of thousands on a datacentre is pitiful. In my FC, where we had a dozen+ people doing relics in HW, we have 1 person in Pyros. Two still in Pagos. That's it.

The content is still going to die, and instead of being something ppl don't mind going back for if a new player comes along and needs help (we routinely take newbies through Diadem to get their Pegasus mount, we do ex horse/bird farms, we do fate crystal farms for HW weapons, etc) it's going to be something everybody shuns.

It's a game and forcing it to be an unfun job instead is a good way to kill said game.

Its a win-win situation.

They get love, we get loot.

I always have trappits (trap rabbits) lure me to higher level mobs a lot and and almost die when tryna avoid em.

If I have to weave through insta-kill mobs for a chest whose color I don't want for contents that might be trash, I could at least be comforted by the idea of there being a guaranteed bunny rather than me wasting hours and hours and hours fighting mobs so other people who only want EXP can get further rewards.

I got the mount on saturday... till then i am farming bunny chests for an effing hair. 3 days.

I didn't see any silver chests in 2 days. ALL BRONZE. ALL EFFING BRONZE!

Well 6 Gold chests gave me only once that offensive things but else... garbage >_>

They love RNG and everyone whos lucky would not mind, but the hard grind always gets tormented.... like why does the high level bunnys give the same rewards? Or on another note, why cant i exchange my 120 suzaku tokens now? Do i dont deserve my mount after 100+ clears while others got luck, got carried and got theirs on <10 runs... SOME rng to keep stuff interresting is nice, but they rly overdue it >_>

Thats correct. Theres limited spots for chests to pop, so thats the number of bunnies available per fate.
Also would like to add that golden chests are not only RNG based.
For those who remember the minigame "Chocobo Forest" on FFVIII, chest rate also depends of how many times you use the carrot(Sonar on the original FFVIII).
Less uses of carrots until you find the right spot gives you more chances to get a better tier chest and thats totally understandable, since bunnies are nothing but a mini-game so they have to add some mechanic besides the RNG to find better chests.
The bottom line is, if your going for golden chests, try to find the spot within 2-3 carrot uses in order to improve your golden chest rate to pop. Happy Hunting.
