Square lied to us about the amount of MGP

The NA Dev blog clearly stated that scoring an 80 or above would net you 180k MGP yet you only get 80 (i had Jackpot 2 active) this is a straight bold face lie even if it was a translation error they should make right an give what was originally stated.

This one that says: "* Due to translation error, the wording on the MGP rewarded from the Fashion Report was incorrect. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."?

The blog also clearly states that it was due to a translation error, and was likely updated to add that before you even made this thread.

What they meant was that players could earn between 30-180k during these three weeks (10k from participating, 50k from getting a score of 80+), although strangely enough, they didn't take the Make It Rain buff into account.

If you read it properly, they are saying that over the course of the event you can earn anywhere between 30k to 180k. if the event goes for three weeks that 10k a week at the lowest score.

They didn't lie it was a mistranslation which they have already corrected and apologized for

Now it does. Before, it said "Typically, you can earn 10,000 MGP just for participating, and 50,000 MGP if you can score higher than 80 points! However, during the campaign, you'll be able to earn 30,000 MGP for participating and 150,000 MGP for scores over 80! Whoa!" The use of 'typically' and 'however' made it impossible to see it as anything other than an increase in payout.

And they already clarified they made a mistake, corrected the source and offered an apology. /endthread

But wait! They said a thing, and now they're giving us a different thing! Apologies are not enough! Mistakes are not an excuse! They MUST either give us the better of the two things, or some other form of overblown compensation!!!

You got 26k more than 50k bonus+ 10k base that is the base reward plus the ~10k with the jackpot II buff. Billy did the better math.

The +50% is from the base MGP award, not after applying Jackpot II

Base participation = 10K
Make It Rain bonus = 50% = 5k
Jackpot II = 10% = 1k
Total: 16k

Base 80+ = 50k
Make it Rain bonus = 50% = 25k
Jackpot II = 10% = 5K
Total: 80K

80K + 16K = 96K.
All is in order.

I read the blog and still says you can earn 30000 to 180000 mgp. Must be 180k if complete weekly challenge log. It should go 10k + 50% bonus = 15k + 10% bonus =16.5k, 50k + 50% bonus = 75k + 10% bonus = 82500. Should = 99000. Because 50% bonus should take place before jackpot II bonus does and not be added together.
