where to get new hairstyles?

no idea, can't seem to find em, and of course patch notes don't say where....

The braided pony tail is pvp, 18k wolf marks

I just bought it and can't find a new pony tail, only new one I have is the one in the patch notes

People on the reddit said the new braid hair is from pvp but that's the shorter one.

:X Pretty shady if we only get one new hair and if the second will be from an event which means it will only end up in the cash shop later on.

No new hair readily available is a real let down.

They put one in pvp and didn't stick it as a possible loot from Hoh like they did for one via potd?

Th patch notes say hairstyles are added, I'm hoping maybe it's just in a place we've not found yet. It would be really dumb for them to mention it in the patch notes when we won't have access to it for a month.

Only they haven't. They showed the short hair-style in the notes but not the other one, right? That one we found out about through data-mining. So there's no guarantee it's available this patch.

But the patchnotes say hairstyles.

Hairstyles.

We may have found it via mining, but that doesn't change the fact the the patchnotes mention multiple. Meaning we should have access to it. They don't mention it in the notes usually if we're not supposed to find it.

It could also be a drop from the upcoming Deep Dungeon. The old one drops a hairstyle after all.

It can be a translation thing. Japanese don't have plural for words without a specific number.
While we have "one" (singular) and "more than one" (plural), japanese have "one or more than one"

Can confirm the short, feathered style is the one you buy with Wolf Marks. People are pretty convinced on Reddit that the fabulous new braided hair is from the Make It Rain event coming up.

Heya when is that happening? Bit gutted over the hair because its the nicest for a long time.

Yep my mistake ! I wanted the emote over the new hairstyles so I thought the short one was given and the ponytail one was wolf marks. I was wrong x)

This is wrong. The yuna hairstyle is the one brought from pvp. Can't find the other.

I wish they'd stop putting things behind PvP.

There is technically no such thing as "PvP items" anymore, since they don't do anything in pvp. So all items gotten through wolf marks are pretty much non-pvp now, just glamours.

You guys are unhappy that you have to do pvp for a hairstyle? Us pvpers are unhappy all our hard work to get specific gear for pvp for stats has been thrown away with the introduction of Stormblood. (I bought many items, pvp and non pvp, to max out my piety and spellspeed for the sync in pvp, only for it all removed, and everybody given the same values).

And the fact that pvp has been dumbed down so much with the ability changes.

Heck, they should make more stuff like that locked behind pvp, that way the queues would actually pop.

We already got plenty of afkers before this. Then they nerfed the exp and wolf marks for non-wins. And we were still left with afkers. Not much difference there. Now we'll just have to wait less. Overall it's a win, I'd say.
I swear, when pvpers get thrown the tiniest of scraps, PvEers complain, when they get so much more all the time.
Who knows, maybe new people will pick up pvp after getting the hairstyle, maybe some would actually enjoy it if they tried while doing so.

It's not only locked behind PvP, it's locked behind 18 k of wolf marks. EIGHTEEN THOUSAND. I feel this is a tad too much :'D
