Glitch with enemies appearing and disappearing
I had an odd visual glitch last night (video uploaded here) where I noticed that some enemies in the area were appearing and disappearing.
I was fighting mudpuppies in the river at Boulder Downs and noticed two "rimy biasts" appear close by - I think they are meant to be levequest enemies? (A FATE started close by at the same time, but it involves fighting energy sprites, not biasts.) Anyway I ignored them and kept going with the mudpuppies, but realised that the biasts were fading in and out of existence the whole time.
I didn't try to engage with them, but was intending to go over and investigate once I'd defeated the last of the mudpuppies - but as soon as I was out of 'combat mode' they vanished entirely and didn't appear again.
Has anyone else seen this happen, or know what was going on?
I have yet to experience this in Eureka or outside however;
I have been checking my settings and there are a few factors that can affect this beside the obvious of area congestion.
First depending on your device and settings it could be a performance issue.
Example; A PC 64bit system with high Graphics card can display things faster than a 32bit system with same card. Each device works different and is affected by congestion and amount of things it can display.
The Solution for this is to run a benchmark to get an idea of your devices performance and settings. If your over the recommended it would not surprise me your having this issues.
Second; Direct X setting if on PC can effect it as well as any updates that may be needed. Such as drivers ect.
For gaming systems; I don't really recommended being PSN has been acting up. (depending on your region and service )
The worst I seen is some clipping ( rarely ) and inventory over lapping with item limit. Example 65/160 lower right is being blocked by icons.
