Don't get me wrong, I have been doing other things. I have re-playing old games that I have and such but I still miss this game. You would think that after playing this game since October I would welcome a little break. I have my own suggestions that could improve the game but it seems that after 5 days of being unable to play I am really starting to forget about any bad parts of the game. I understand what is going on in Japan and this post is not here to beg them to re-start the servers. I would just like to see who else out there is missing this game more than they thought they would.

it's a common thing, given the choice to not play a game you own you might not bother, have the choice taken away for a while, and you miss the freedom to ignore it.
i love the game myself though, and am genuinely missing hanging out with my linkshell. -

I have honestly kinda been wanting to play more than I thought I would. I'm not sure if it's just because I can't or I genuinely miss it. I can see a great future for the game IF it can make it there, and I'm enjoying seeing it progress

I know this game is riddled with faults and problems that seem too large to be fixed, and half the time I find myself disappointed when I am playing... And yet, I've been missing it terribly too... :(

agreed. omg how much i hate craft grinding, but it's a hell of alot better than the home improvements and honey do list the wife has me on atm lmao.

When they said the servers will be down I was like "Only a week? No problem..." This has been a very long week sadly lol. When the servers were up I could easily ignore it but now I find it hard not wanting to play. I did have a plan to seriously grind however so I guess thats part of my problem.

I haven't really PLAYED this game since about Nov or Dec but now that it is down I am dying to get back in and play for some reason. Same with XI, I JUST told my Abyssea LS they needed a new WHM main to replace me cause I think I am done with XI and now I am sitting here pasted on both XI/XIV forums biding time for 2 games I had given up on in a way.
All the games that are available to me now somehow just became uninteresting and I just want XI/XIV back. >.> -

I believe it is a natural human response to miss something that has been taken away from you and you have no control of bringing it back.
I however miss the people I befriended over the game and miss the crazy talks with them. I hope they will return whenever the servers return. -
