There are ~35 achievement points that will be completely unobtainable for a majority of people that play this game, locked purely behind RNG. I feel like it's been long enough since the Jumbo Cactpot has come out that we should be able to "brute force" it by now, and yes, I mean by buying 9999 jumbo cactpot tickets to win once.
I don't mind spending 3-5 million MGP for these achievement points, please SE. It sucks for achievement hunters.

Lottery shouldn't have achievements I think. Winning a 0.01% gamble isn't an achievement. They also locked titles High Roller and Moneybags behind this. I finished all the other high roller activities long ago but the jumbo cactpot one takes like 20 years if you aren't extraordinarily lucky.

Yeah some of the Gold Saucer achievements just feel ridiculously out of reach, like killing 1000 hunts, or competing 1000 mentor roulette duties. I wouldn't mind a slight tweak on the RNGs to at least stand more of a chance, even if it's only during the Make It Rain campaign, any adjustment would be nice. There is just too much to still purchase with MGP, the struggle is real...

I used to be quite competitive with gamerscore and trophy ranks but these days you get so many for the dumbest stuff. -

Normal and Jumbo Cactpot are both luck based, and there is no way to guarantee a worthy prize, so that can't be trusted for getting MGP. Triple Triad tournaments can offer a decent amount, but it's nothing substantial unless you happen to reach the top 10, and even then if you do rank high you could potentially be dethroned by other players before the end; reducing your possible reward. Trading cards can help fund a steady accumulation though. The Fashion Report is also not for everyone, and the best rewards are generally out of reach for casual players as they would either need to farm the gear, buy off the MB or craft it themselves (meaning often crafters have an advantage).
Also not everyone has time to regularly do all the MGP related activities especially if they enjoy other parts of the game much more. And before anyone says that they work full time, 80hrs a week and can make time etc, it's different for everyone and no single person's life can easily be compared to another's. So kudos if you do have everything with money to spare, but for some the journey can be a long one. -

It would take at least 10 hours to buy up the 10,000 tickets if you wanted to brute force it, not to mention trying to keep track of what numbers you've already purchased. Are you sure that's what you want to spend all your time doing?
Almost 70k MGP a week from the challenge log isn't a lot of MGP? That doesn't even include the MGP you're getting for doing the things related to the challenge log.Quote:
