What happened to the ffxv collab?

With the pc edition of ffxv out, was wondering whatever happened to that ffxv ffxiv collab that was mentioned around when SB came out?

they kind of only ever said "not now"
probably will be something eventually though

Probably in 3 years when they finally finish FFXV.

Does anyone find the continual update for ff15 is weird? I get that the company is trying to make up for a decade's time of wasted waiting but at some point, you just gotta say enough is enough.

It's either that or making different titles like the 3 FFXIII. I read somewhere they were trying to stick to a single title and just expand that game.

I agree, I was waiting for that for a long time, It seems it will never happen.

im guessing when they finish releasing XV content so not in 2018 maybe 2019 or maybe the want people to forget it so they dont have to do a collab.

FFXV is collabing with everything under the sun (and it's awesome xD) so I'm sure FFXIV will get its turn eventually.

They should pick a better game than.

Yoshi said somewhere the event is still happening. He wants more than a typical event and so it takes time. I'm guessing it will be a cross event and the XV team needs to prepare their side as well.
On another note. Feels so weird when you are driving the Regalia on the way to face Titan listening to XIV's "Under the Weight" inside the car.

He said he wants a crossover event. So most likely FFXV is getting some items as well with comrades. So these things will take time. I am guessing it will happen before or after the final update for comrades in ffxv

I've feel like we've entered the FF7-compilation syndrome age again.

Like you said, instead of several different ff15 games, its now all in one.

A miqo'te outfit for Noctis has been datamined, so maybe we'll get some sort of cross event?

Weird? Nooope. They spent a butt load of money and time on making it, and they're going to milk it as long as they can to make up for it.

If they do a crossover event with FFXV it's going to be one quest: finding the perfect ingredient for your cup of noodles. The reward? Cup of Noodles you can place in your house... lulz...
