Butler/Maid outfits finally on the Mogstation! Go nuts guys!

XD I'm so glad I got this from the promo cause ain't no way I'm paying that much per outfit per character.

I've grudgingly dealt with some of the less-than-thrilling pricing on individual, single-character items before, because hey, at least it supports the game - but this is pretty much unquestionably extortionate.

We know roughly what the company valued this stuff at, and it wasn't anywhere close to $18 - and that was both sets, and more. A mild increase for the effort in bringing it to the station and not being party to the added value a promotion brings, sure. Single character.. annoying, but sure. This? I'd love to see what the justification is for the price increase other than 'because we can, and because some sucker will still pay it'.

$20 for both sets, 2 masks, and a mount for any character ever created on your account via promo

As much as I'm not a fan of the pricing and I did get it from the event, it is nice since I can get it for a friend's birthday.

I-i honestly came in here to say, 'how nice for those who missed the promo', but...wow. I'm not sure even the most frothy-mouthed cash shop White Knights are gonna be able to defend this one.

Damn. Here's hoping they do the Monkey King items through another promotion before they do the same thing to it. It's going to be worse because 1: there's an outfit set and 2: there's also a mount. You all know how bad that's going to go.

Im joking but hell seeing as how $18 only gets you a single butler outfit for a single character for 1 time use.....I wont even be surprised if they went that route

Minor gripe about the Mogstation. SE needs to do a better job at previewing clothing and many other items that vary by gender and race. Currently it seems they just pop together a race and gender that they feel like taking a screenshot of at the time. This can sometimes be rather irksome when your gender/race isn't apart of any of the preview screenshots. I'd like it if they could actually take screenshots with all genders and races for clothing items and whatever else.

Sure I could preview them in game, if I hunt someone down. Depending on the popularity of the items that might be swift or take a while! Or I could google search and that can also vary greatly; I've tried to look for certain emotes before and could not find what I was looking for that matched my gender or race exactly. Emotes are probably the greatest offender of poor previews, especially since they usually are the type of purchasable with greater variances by race and gender.

Had no chance for the promo because some countries just don't exist for SE and now I need to pay $18. Okay, I got it. That's ridiculous.

In before these aren't dyeable.

This is garbage. Charging $18 for reused assets is pretty shameful. Thankfully I got these items from the Amazon event. I still think a cash shop in a sub mmo is getting up their on Scrooge levels and will never support it.

If others didn't as well, we'd get these items in-game as it should be.

While it probably something lot of people been waiting for a long time it pretty scummy on SE making it single character and not account wide.
Now, this won't affect me at all since i was able to use the previous promo and have it acocunt wide but scummy SE, you already charge $18 per set

You know I was okay with Mogstation existing when it was reasonably priced retired event items and some things like fantasia and fancy dyes...but in the past year all I see is massive overpricing. For example the Bomb Dance from the festival a few years back is $2...Eastern Greeting is $7. Now this. SE this isn't even funny anymore. I'm lucky that I live in NA and have access to easy Amazon promotions but for those that don't you're really letting them down on this one.

I don't mind paying like 23AU or whatever the exchange is for Australia for the maid outfit for one character, I only have one character because I can do everything on one character >.> if you don't want to spend 18 or how much it costs in your country...then don't? It is level like 1 gear for glam lol People sure like to find anything wrong with a system just for the sake of things.

Oh man, I couldn't get the cloud mount due to the rubbish deal EU got. I was hoping to grab it later but not if it follows this pricing.

SE doesn't do account-wide anything unless it's one of the $25 mounts. I only have the one character so I haven't completely paid attention, but I don't think there's account gear. Collector edition stuff may be account. Can't remember if the veteran stuff was account or it was to the one character you picked the mail up on, but the achievement token system made that moot now.

I love the line people sing about the money going to help fund the game. The reality is that SE are price gouging because they've made some huge losses recently($45mil for IO Interactive alone). It's not new that they use the profit from their mmo's to offset bad business decisions.

Mogstations prices have been slowly creeping higher and higher. I'd speak up about it before it becomes an EA sized issue. Is it EA bad yet, no, but it's still worse than it used to be.

Where did I ever say the money was going to help fund the game? I said I tolerated it because it gave access to old event items and full character changes at a not too awful price which is more than a lot of MMOs do. I'm not nearly so forgiving of it now.

Because they're pushing their luck to see just how far they can go and still have acceptable sales numbers. If no one bought at this price, they'd back-peddle right quick and lower the price or make the items account wide, but there are enough people out there with no concept of value that I'm sure they'll make enough to justify keeping the price as-is.

The prices are getting a bit outrageous now, honestly I stopped buying from the Mogstation the day Lyse outfit came out, and to be fair, I should have stopped much sooner. I'll only ever buy with the inevitable sales in the future

I'm surprised as well.

I had many troubles to get both promotions from Spain. For the Chocobo one I had a friend who bought stuff in Australia and then sent me the code, and the Cloud mount one I had to wait until the last promotion to get it, and I (all) had problems with that website because it ran out of stock every now and then.

Yet, many people who WANTED to participate in that promotion, couldn't do it, and it wasn't their fault.

I think the pricing is wrong, and the "one character only" is also wrong.
These outfits weren't from an accessible event like Christmass event. This was from a limited hard-to-access and unfair event/promotion. The pricing should be symbolic at this point.

Well done SE, you somehow managed to mess this up too...so those that missed out of these campaigns because they simply did not have one, now need to even pay much more than those that at least got the chance..These are digital goods that you created..there is no extra amount of money involved in putting those in the cash shop and I am not really sure why others can get every single item in one set, while the rest has to pay much more and does not even get the mount..and on top of that its single character only...wow just wow...Yoshidas words about not using the cash shop to earn money but to give people the chance to get the items again are not holding up with such prices..

I feel bad for everyone that never even had the chance to get the codes the first time and that now have to pay a huge a mount of cash for one set if they want to have it on more than one character or have both versions..

Shame on you SE...

$18 for one set for one character, The promotion basically gave you this stuff for free if you bought something from amazon if I remember correctly?

The promo version is storable in the armoire as well, this is a separate version of the items that is probably not storable.

I'm not sure why SE thinks making us pay to be inconvenienced is good business.

This Mog Station deal is better than some EU deals which are what prompted the request to get these outfits in the Mog Station in the first place. The only thing I'm sad to see is the missing mount. It makes me wonder if the cloud mount will ever be available again.

It being single-character only is kinda to be expected when they already went the route of making even promotional items like the codes for the Eorzean Symphony or the Wind-Up Yotsuyu from the art book single-character.

But don't worry, slippery slopes don't exist, it's all optional and don't be entitled and all that.
