Sigmascape bosses confirmed in the trailer? (spoilers?)

They already showed v1 being Phantom Train, and I definitely saw Chadarnook and Ultima Weapon...

My bet is

O5S - Phantom Train
O6S - Chadarnook
O7S - Ultima Weapon / Atma Weapon
O8S - Kefka + Kefka God of Magic

* with Guardian appearing somwhere as trash/Faust


EDIT: Or maybe Guardian isn't even part of Sigmascape and it's just a boss in Fractal (HM)?

yea i hope they don't do god kefka as a exclusive to savage, some of us don't have time to do it........ it's honestly incredibly unfair.

you don't know how many casual raiders I've seen start taking Savage seriously just because they wanted to see Neo Exdeath. I hope they continue this trend of special bosses for Savage.

You have more than 6 months to get there, in order to clear it while relevant. Otherwise, wait till 4.4+ and outgear the whole raid. A lot of people progressed through Deltascape casually, with their limited time and in PF with pugs/friends/people who decided to stick together.

You need to know that kefka may be only a folkelore to us in xiv like exdeath.

I'm only able to play the game likemaybe two hours a day, and that's when i don't have plans with friends irl. it's great if you got to do it.

They wanted to reward raiders for their dedication since Midas. That's why it is what it is. When they delivered the same Alexander Prime for both versions, they apologized to the playerbase, although they compensated with better gear design. With SB and a bigger budget, they can do this no problem, apparently.

doesnt mean its unfair to have content exclusive to the upper echelon of groups at the onset. You will get there eventually. I have not even started SB yet so in all likelihood i will miss the initial thrill of it as well. But my time will come, just like it will for anyone that wants to experience certain content.

I'm curious as to whether Guardian is just trash or if it's a proper boss and maybe Kefka only shows up on Savage.

It has its whole mode-change gimmick, which seems a bit involved for a simple trash mob.

This seems likely, if they plan to keep having a savage exclusive mode to the fight. I can't seem them excluding Kefka entirely from normal mode, because there would be a riot and they've never been big on keeping stuff like that from the majority of players.

Just wait a year and unsync it. Savage is easier than ever since creator, you could try to learn a fight. You should be happy that you even get the savage fight dumbed down to normal mode so you can brainafk it with randoms.

How many hours would you say you play a week?

For reference, I played like 4 hours a week and managed to clear Deltascape Savage with time to spare.

I think it's doable with his schedule. He can pug his way through it, he has the alternatives. During the first days it's easier because everyone is learning, then you go from there. It's matter of trying instead of complaining. Savage is not an ex primal, it has a learning curve if you're not used to it. Doing O2S like... 3 hours once isn't what I'd call effort or dedication. Which it isn't also a good example of what progression is like either.

We're in debt with this info, but I remember that not having a different phase for A12S in Alex Creator was something he apologized for. Hard to go through all the Live letters and interviews to find it, but I remember it. It's not a nonsense to expect a better experience while doing the hardest tier either, as raiders have complained how their raid rewards grow irrelevant overtime (Mainly because of the time/effort they invested on it). Brute Justice and Neo Exdeath had it right, imo.

Back in Coil, they even included an exclusive GCI cinematic for T12. It was amazing!

I have been a fan of this series for damn 30 years. Been here since 1.0. I am a legacy player. Hallmarks of the FF series are important to me. My irl name is in the credits. It sucks just because i'm not a hardcore raider, i don't get to see Kefka as a boss fight... Sucks to be me. I'm the only one at fault for not challenging the raid. It doesn't matter that my job has a near random schedule (four on four off), nor that i spend time with my son when not at work. As a single father there are just something more important to me. I love this game and play it as much as i can, when i'm able to unsync/ low man it with my small fc of adults, i will. No need to open everything to everyone right away.

Guardian is the 7th floor. Ultima Weapon is in Fractal HM. Ultima shows 4 players and a passage way leading up to it. Also the design of Ultima's boss room is the same as Fractal. If it was in Sigma, the boss room would resemble the floating continent.

Kefka is probably a omega boss pulled from lore. Honestly they could do norma kefka for normal omega scape and god mode for savage.

I kinda find it strange that the ultima weapon has little similarities to the proto ultima weapon we encounter in azs la/ Dun scaith.

The second pic. Since Ultima Weapon was already a final boss in ARR and the name was already used, I think the boss in sigma will be mostly called Atma weapon.

There's a lot of weapons though, only in Final Fantasy VI you can find Ultima Weapon, Ultima Buster and Omega Weapon, and they all share the same sprite, just recolored.

I find a weapon, in Final Fantasy lore, to be a half-beast half-machine created by humans.

Like, for instance, this is the Omega Weapon from FFVIII

OS5: The Phantom Pain Train.
OS6: Chadarnook.
OS7: The Guardian
OS8: Kefka (I hope the entire tower).

Atma/Ultima I think is a boss from Fractal Continuum (Hard).

Savage fights should be harder versions of Normal fights they should not have unique content exclusive to them. this is a basic idea which is not hard to understand and allows all players to experience the content, regardless of whether they can find a static or whether they enjoy savage.

If it's like previous Savage content then no, you just have to beat 5-8 normal mode and the unlock the Savage.
