Any way to cheese the Kugane jump puzzle?

I remember with the notoriously atrociously designed North Shroud jump puzzle, there was a trick where a healer could res you onto it, providing the healer could make the jump. Is there a similar trick with this one? Healers have some ability that can teleport party members to them (not sure what it's called). Would that work?

Eternal Bond and TP to them, otherwise, not really.

Sadly no, the ability can only be used in combat and only after a set amount of time has passed in combat.

Guess that's as good a reason as any to get married lol

The only hard jump is the very last one onto the roof. The other "hard" one before that becomes a guaranteed jump if you use Sprint and aim to the middle of it. The rest of the jumps are just a matter of aiming.

Thanks! :D I don't have trouble with the final roof jump, it's the jump down to the lamp post that I keep failing.

I tried this, twice, landed on the lamppost both times. I can confirm it works.

If you are a dragoon, you can cheese the last jump to reach the roof, instead of doing that risky jump on the small board, you can face your character's back toward the roof, make so your head don't hit the roof, jump and when you reach the maximum height, use Elusive Jump. It should put you at the top if done correctly.

The secrets that I learned on this is on the short pegs, don't aim for the peg, aim for the air just in front of it.... As for the lightpost, I had to sprint jump off the roof.

NINs have a skill called Shukuchi (at Lv 40)that let them teleport to a specific point. That might work.

The small run speed increase NIN has makes the jumps easier while not increasing your speed so much that you risk overshooting them like MCH/BRD's Peloton does.

What this guy said. Just be sure to marry someone with the mad parkour skillz.

2 person mounts.
Party with someone who can jump, have that person do the jump you're having trouble with, have them mount their 2-seater and mount up yourself.

Can't use mounts in Kugane.

Anyways, the way I did it was got on the last peg before the actual roof, and jumped from there with Sprint. My first jump I did from the very edge, which made me go too far. So now I just jump as soon as I can and as long as I aimed properly, I'll land there.

True, you were talking specifically bout Kugane. My mistake. I just remembered we cheesed some of the ARR sightseeing points that way.
