Letting it rip as WAR is glorious

Steel Cyclone's HP generation buff is glorious. I can heal myself like 3 times over in big crowds. It was hilarious because I was with my healer in voice chat and I heard their audible confusion as I just devoured the mobs and went from bleeding mess to hunky dory in a single swing. Still, some mobs that hit significantly harder can be deadly, but it's still awesome that I can just do the twist and style on some 'em if I spam it enough. It's just about where we were when bloodbath and vengeance was a thing. Might be better since we can control when we get health back. Worst case scenario we get it nerfed into the ground, but I'm going to enjoy the hell out it right now. BIG PULLS! BIG PULLS!

But no seriously, after testing this out yesterday.. it was just silly. Getting 5.5k+ crits and watching my health bar go back up to full.. only made me wish to play Warrior more.

Don't even get me started on the Shake It Off change.

I'm pretty sure that image says enough about what I think about this. I do think Warrior being able to keep themselves standing is nice though.

On my DRK DA AD is much easier to spam, so I'm not salty about steel cyclone getting a much needed hp drain buff.

Imagine if Quietus also restored our HP.

Imagine if we didn't have Unleash, Abyssal Drain, and Quietus..

Imagine if Unleash combo'd into Abyssal Drain..

Yeah nothing feels quite as good as seeing 7-8k DH crits on warrior and your health goes from 20% to 100% it toally beats Abyssal Drain which is just sad.

what's the hp scaling of steel cyclone? Before it was roughly 20-25% I believe. So what's it at now? 50% dmg dealt absorbed as hp?

right now it's about 90-100% damage absorbed
the number fluctuates, but it's usually between those when i use it

I was giggling like an absolute loon last night running Skalla for the first time. There were multiple cries of 'One Man Army!' as I self-healed through a massive pull. Then I got cocky and wiped the party. My class is back, and it feels good.

Yeah it's kinda ridiculous with how much HP return you get. Just imagine if we still had Bloodbath. SC just shits on AD now.

During big pulls, the amount of health you get back seems to be the equivalent of a single heal cast. So at the end of the day, the HP gain of Steel Cyclone is simply saving the healer from casting 1 extra spell.

Not to mention it costs 50 points to use, meaning you can use it at most 3 times back-to-back (after a lot of building up). I hope people take that into account before they start crying about how this is broken.

Yeah, it's not really broken. Kind of hard to keep tearing around in a circle when you have to run because of aoe's. It takes 6 attacks to build enough to use it again and that's a long time to assume your healer and cooldowns can handle it. It mostly just helps ease the healer's job. The less they have to heal the more cooldowns and MP they have. It's not even that strong of an aoe considering the build up for it.

It’s extremely sustainable though.
While I mostly raid with WAR, I would always run dungeons with PLD/DRK. No longer!
It’s less potency than OP spam but it feels so good to get so much HP back and be able to do it indefinitely.

Speaking as someone who loved 1.0s steel cyclone, I'm happy for you guys getting this buff. Revel in the glory of it >:D
