wow there is 227 people logged onto bodum server right now. I cant see paying to play a game with this little people that play it. What a joke

They planning a server merge so should get little bit better :), personally Id rather be in a quiet server with least amount of players lol

that's 112 more than karnak has atm. we have a massive 115 online. at least you are double our population lol.

Wonder what the numbers would be like on the 6th.

Give it a week or two after payment starts for the population to stabilize. If the peak population dips below a certain number, except to hear something about server transfers. They want us to play on populated worlds, they just need to see what'll happen after January 6th.

486 folks on selbina a couple hours ago, which felt low compared to the usual population actually. I can't imagine how empty the other servers feel with lower population.

My search only allows me to see upto 200, and on Saronia which is a low populated server has atm 200+ people online.

Total amount atm is

313 players on Saronia:) Not too bad for a low pop server

I got most hits in the 41-50 range

lindblum went that low? when i was on it in 1.19 it was well into the 600+ range....after tomorrow its not going to be good for these low pop servers, i can see them losing more because of the "my server is empty" problem.

I they they should do a server merge so veterans of this game stick together and not hear all the PS3 newbs

I think it really depends on what time you check. Saronia seems to be right in the middle in terms of server population... of course, it is most active during the 9pm - 1am Japan time window.

I suppose the English speaking population has dropped off significantly, which was compounded by the breakup of some of the larger English-speaking Linkshells over the past couple of months.

It will be very interesting to see what the server population is like tonight, after the billing system starts.

First time I was able to get a total pop number today while having everything to "all classes" "all languages" "all regions" etc.. 1-50... A whopping 173 on Palamecia.

Dont worry now that sub fees are coming the servers should grow and flourish. At least thats what I am guessing by reading all of the people who are posting that they are glad SE is charging a sub fee now.

anyone remember how long it took not only to implement but to update us on the last two avatars we got in FFXI?

new avatars were announced in the last fanfest in anaheim but no word on them after that for about... 1.5/2 years after? and not only that but we didnt even get avatars. they were essentially spells - terrible terrible oldschool traditional spell style summons... i was shocked.

Sad to see Wutai population numbers so low but when actually in the game it doesn't really seem empty unless you are out doing leves somewhere. :(

I do hope you're joking about those perfect 10s rolling in because that's a lie. Sure you have a selection of a lot of stuff to do but that far from makes the game 10 worthy.

Hi. These numbers are snapshots taken around peak time for Japan (11pm) -- which is when much of NA is sleeping or Europe is at work or school. What you see on your server at your peak time could be quite different. :)
