I already give SE money every month for a sub and retainers.

There's only so much money you should be required to shell out monthly to a single MMO if you want reliable access to all the content.

No. Housing should just be instanced in-game. Sub should be enough for that.

Just no. SE is already greedy enough. Sub is one of the highest on the mmo market, retainers cost extra and every relevant new glamour and emote goes straight to cash shop. Throwing too much money at them as it is.

As much as I want a house in Shirogane, it should never come at an additional cost like the retainers.
Paying for an additional 6 retainers per month is already bad enough.

I wouldn't. They already have a cash shop in a subscription model. That's the equivalent of your triple A games having season passes with microtransactions on top.

I would not be suprised, if they did this. I mean they could have given us more retainers for free if they wanted to. Before SB when alot of players were asking for extra inventory spaces, SE could have given the players more retainers (I mean we know they are able to give players extra retainers for a fee), yet they decided that amount of $$$ that they can make outweighs the needs of those players. This is the same for housing.

I can totally see them adding houses to the Mog Station with a 8-10 dollar fee a month, the whole retainer issues have shown us that they can do it. One of the suits only has to come here and see that there is a demand and we will see Mog Home for rent option added to the Mog Station.

Access to airships, higher grade crafting, and chocobos are only interesting to roleplayers? The latter two you can only get if you have an apartment/house, which are already filling up in the bigger worlds, and the former is impossible without a house. Plus people who don't roleplay actually do like to decorate, shocking as it might be.

Heck no, cash shop is already going crazy with the prices for itens that aren't even shared in the account, I have no wish to enable them to keep getting crazier.

People from my area still gotta pay for VPN service so... no, thx.

Housing is advertised as something you can do in the base game. We better make them remember that and step the heck up.

Bullcrap idea, if you're so rich or hate your money for some reason, feel free to send'em monthly donations of 1.000 $.

We already pay every month, that alone gives us the right to use the housing system in it's entirety, which in the meantime's not possible cuz SQEX ain't willing enough to upgrade their ressources for whatever fabricated reason (We all know, it's all about the money)

This is one of those "be careful what you wish for" sort of ideas.
Pay to housing? SE decides how much it'll charge. You say 5-8. SE says 3-5 if you're lucky, 10-15 if you're not.

What type of housing: Maybe they decide to give you the house of your dreams. Or they give you this no room only kitchen. GG.

Maybe they'll let you supply it with ingame furniture. Or...you can only use cash shop furniture to furnish it.


Be very careful about what you wish for.

I'm open to it. Doubt it ever happen though.

Something and alternatives would be better than the current system.

I think that level of customer exploitation would finally drive me to unsub.

If free games can provide housing for everyone with no charge, then square enix can manage it as well.
Stop giving them excuses to charge us more money.
