SE deducted more Crysta than it should

Hi,

I am having a payment issue that I opened multiple tickets for support without any answer.

I just received notification that SE deducted 5,697 Crysta from my account for my FFXIV sub.

As per my calculation they should have only deducted 4500 Crysta (90 days sub for $27 + 5 additional retainers (2 free and 3 paid for) $18. Totaling $45 or 4500 Crysta.

I'd appreciate if someone know.

If it says 5 additional retainers that means 5 on top of the 2 free ones, so 7 in total

If it says 5 additional retainers it means you are paying for 5 extra. They never count the 2 free ones in the number, it is how many additonal ones you are paying for. So you have a total of 7 if you are being charged for 5.

Sorry to be harsh, but this is a support center issue. Not something for everyone to know, imho.
Please contact the support center for those things.

If SE ever takes ur money, you will NEVER see it again, thats the ONE thing they will never fix, no matter what.
Ive had quite a few people go through issues regarding SE taking their money, and getting nothing in return. Its always the same thing. "We arent allowed to do anything about it, its out of our hands, sorry."

Like I said in my post concerning my problem with SE. It's a racket bordering on wire fraud. So many seemingly little transactions like mine eventually add up to a nice tidy sum.

Good luck with that. People vent here because they are ignored by SE's third party vendors that handle their Customer Service (sic).

I passed along your billing concerns to the Support Center to look into. While I cannot discuss your account on the forums, I can confirm that the amount you are describing being billed is consistent with choosing "Five Additional Retainers" under the Retainer Service area of the Mog Station. You can verify the number of additional retainers you are being billed for on the Mog Station by taking the following steps:

1. On the Mog Station, click "Manage Service Options" to select the relevant service account.
2. Go to "Miscellaneous Options" and click the "Retainer Service" button.
3. Check the "Retainer Service Fees" section to determine how many retainers you are paying for. 2 should be free, and any retainers beyond 2 would incur additional fees.
4. Under "Service Details and Payment Method", you can change the number of additional retainers you wish to be billed for.

If you do have any additional concerns or questions specific to your account, you should contact the Support Center, since I cannot discuss them on the forums.

Mogstation > Your Account > Retainer Service > Cancel Subscription

It'll have you confirm that you wish to disable the renewal of your extra retainers at that point. After the remaining time you've paid for is up the additional retainers should no longer be accessible. If you use them, make sure to take any items/gil off them before the time runs out. They could probably name that particular button something better like "Cancel Retainer Services", but that's what it's for under the Retainer Service category.

It's not using the additional retainer service.
