Is world transfer service not available yet?

Getting an unavailable error, but I thought that it was suppose to come up the same time as the servers

It was. I was hoping they would be up before I had to head in to work. Even woke up at 3am to ensure I would be ready in time but nope. Sitting here with 20 minutes to go before I have to head off.

An announcement or something would be nice though since it's been nearly 2 hours.

Nope. They are supposed to come up a bit later.

Yeah it was supposed to come live around... 9 minutes ago as of now, two hours after maintenance's end.
It's not yet up though, I really hope it comes soon.

Any chance we could get a response with updates on current ETA on the transfers? Sitting her spamming refresh on mogstation for the last 30min now.

I can't find anything saying there was a delay. I can imagine they probably have their hands full right now with all the other problems early access is having. We should just try to be patient. I have a friend trying to transfer off of Balmung to my server, so I hope it comes up soon. ):

Being patient would be a lot easier if they had some kind of announcement or notice about possible delay instead of leaving us in the dark.

It seems they will let us know, but it has been postponed indeed

Ah so it did indeed get delayed due duty finder issues :C dang, no can do as they do have lot of more important issues than server transfers at hand. Just gotta wait it out.

A second post in the following thread says that World Transfer Service is postponed until 8:00 p.m. PDT (03:00 GMT 17 June) or later.

It's almost like it was a bad idea to wait with opening the free transfers until the exact same day early access started, if only they did the transfers a week or two back so the people who are waiting to move to play can do so already instead of waiting around for information on more delays cause another part of the game is not functioning.

Its now past 3am GMT and transfers are still down, how long do we need to wait this time for an update on next time we can check if its working?

Starting to feel like by the time we can transfer all new characters on Omega will be level 70
It'd be nice if they at least told us why exactly they still didn't open world transfers

Don't you just love the part where they say " 3:00a.m or later ". That I find extremely annoying, since it took them 3 hours past the last noted time before they bothered to let us know.

Not that I expected it to go as planned but you'd think posting prompt updates to let us know, would be helpful, instead we smash refresh for hours.

Same here, I want to get this transfer over with, not spending time hitting F-5 on lodestone and mogstation, I'm not even going to be mad if it takes another 8-10 hours, just long as we get some information on delays please!

I'm sure it'd be easier for them too if we weren't here constantly refreshing the mogstation and asking when will it be up. Give ETA, when it comes give another ETA if it's not ready. Just want some deadline to wait on > >

It's about the worst thing you can do in customer service, leaving your customer hanging without any information or on time updates on a situation that greatly inconvenience the customer.

It's a moogle conpiracy! I woke up here just for this transfer. Nothing to do i guess but to drink my coffee and keep refreshing the tabs.

I'm in same boat, 6AM wake ups can be hard when you're used to getting up around 1PM....

Yeah. Lacking information people tend to fill in the blanks and assume the worst. So it's inconvenient and stressful to the customers. I mean, I know its a game and all, but it's also a service that people pay for.

So its been another hour now since the latest ETA, and I'm sorry but the "or later" doesn't cut it here. Please keep us up to date on whats going on and what is the new time frame.

The "or later" really just makes it sound like they don't...care?
My bud and I had everything settled for the transfer to Omega, and we woke up especially for this transfer (like others)... I'm falling asleep clicking refresh here and there, trying to be there for any ETA or update OR the reinstatement of the service... e-e

This is the second time i am waiting for the transfer. And like the first time there are no informations about a delay at the momemt. Thats annoying. Many people (me too) woke up for the new time schedule..

It's up and running now. Just transferred mine.

For me too. Number is 16,575 thought and it doesnt change even if i restart client, change data center and back.
