At least the artifact armor isn't gated behind weekly capped tomestones this time. We can level WHM to 70, still get our artifact armor, and switch to Astrologian before Omega comes out!

I really don't like leveling combat jobs.
I found this out today
But what if SE considers us a statistic for leveling whm to 70 and says "See? People level it. It's fine!"?
haha the thing is , that its just gona take alot of heat on the forums for se people are gona level whm im gona level it i love the job , but just like ninja is the second least played job in the game mch is the least but in the raid scene its a diff story. Leveling isnt gona change anything feedback will just like the got rid of wm
Healer AF is cute. CUTE.
This. They're such billshitters when it comes to how many people run certain jobs that I wouldn't put it past them. "Oh tons of people run WHM, perhaps it's too strong so we should give them shit all for SB utility" is how I imagine the discussion going down.
But generally, the real balance changes and job fixes come from savage raiding.
So, as if I had to tell anyone this, don't take WHM into raiding.
Statistics show that WHM has the most loyal of player bases. You hear of people switching right now but that number would be higher with any other class.
Yea. Thats because WHM is the most iconic job in the series and people going to play it no matter how bad it is.
Hey people leveled Whm to 70.. Yeah no duh Square some of us have retainers stuck on Whm some of us are forced to level Whm because of RETAINERS. If I was able to swap my retainers job I wouldnt even level it 70, Thanks for showing me what my main does two weeks before SB when I literally have to save ventures, I guess they trick people with these statistics. If nothing is changed I will play Bard after I am forced to level Whm for my retainers. At least Bard looks fun!
There is no brighter side to WHM. Stop trying to fix a gunshot wound with a band aid.
I think this is extremely unlikely. If so, that would be a horrible way to measure player use. Game designers don't look at who has what, but who uses what. If they use anything like that, they'll look at how frequently WHM is queued for DF, how frequently it goes into raids across the servers, and things like that.
Take League of Legends for example: MANY players have access to most, if not all champions, meaning you can't base a champion's strength on how many players have unlocked them, especially the ones that cost 450 IP, as virtually every player has them. Their numbers are from how frequently champions are played, by what player tier, and how well their performance is. And that's just to see if that champion needs to be looked at. So much more examination goes into what areas need to be addressed and how they'll be addressed.
Keep in mind, SE's first response to why tanks/healers didn't get new jobs was because "Data shows DPS don't switch to tanks and healers because of new jobs" (I wanna say this was in a live letter or keynote) or words to that effect. It wasn't till a bit later when they sited the balance changes as a reason in some interviews. The devs kinda treat us like data more than you think.
WHM Pros:
Cutest AF shoes for female characters.
WHM Cons:
Everything else.
