So I guess people who got invited on tour is allowed to speak now. Hopefully we get some YT vids today/tomorrow
Don't suppose you could post the actual links? Bit hard to read that without a microscope.
Read that somebody in GamerEscape told that those are fake.
Sadly Reddit keeps deleting stuff faster than they appear in there, so can't really link source.
As I said, these were posted by someone I know in one of my discord channels. At the time I'm writing this they aren't online, and I currently don't have the time to go look for the actual source.
That said, you can remedy your issue somewhat by just right-clicking the image and then select 'View Image' until I get back with an actual link.
The thing is though, what I've read in terms of skill descriptions matches quite a bit of what I've seen in the latest live letter. We'll just have to wait and see.
Oh boy look at that SAM skill 150% so good.
If they're fakes they're not exactly poorly done fakes. A lot of the information seems to add up to what we have from this: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...C2axI/preview#
At most it gives us some insight into some of the abilities Yoshi P didn't scroll over during the Live-stream. Overall not bad but I'm rather disappointed there isn't Phalanx/Blink, let alone some kind of En-Weapon spell. Still, not like we won't possible see those in future expansions I suppose, but a Phalanx/Blink seems like an integral part of the leveling tool kit.
The embargo is officially lifted! Check reddit and Youtube for the infos! :)

So Sam is the new MNK and RDM is like BLM combined with SMN minus the aoe
Well, found these pics from GamerEscape Analysis.

Is it just me or do some of those RDM potencies seem quite high? O.o
I'm concerned for SAM. Will they have enough DPS to compensate for no utility? Look what happen to MNK.
They aren't fake. the tool tips are exactly the same as they are in-game.
what happened to MNK, it is now in the past.

Everyone is always talking about raid utility.
The raid utility thing is overstated, but all Sam has to do is pick the utility related shared role actions. It almost has no real need to pick damage ones.
I am thankful that the lack of raid utility will scare people off the job, hopefully will be less same running around. Sam will be the non of melee and monk is looking to be the man of melee.
YES! I was just thinking the same thing for RDM! RDM has always been known to have a sort of stoneskin replacement or buff to give to self or members, as well as en-spells to deal extra damage on top of the damage they do. But then, you'd see more elemental based weapons, which we really dont have in this game like XI did back in the day. So I'm curious as to why it wasn't added for the game on en spells.
Maybe i read it wrong but Red Mage based on damage of the skills will even out dps SAM?
That's not really how the En-Weapon spells worked in previous games. I think those just added elemental damage to your auto-attacks. As for FFXIV, I would've been up for an En-Astral/En-Umbral setup where they increase the damage of certain skills and the rate of acquired mana (En-Astral giving, say, +5% Damage to Valaero and Valstone and Valholy, and doubling the white mana they give or something). Or different mechanics. En-Astral boosting damage, En-Umbral giving spells a DoT/Debuff element at the cost of a bit of damage, etc...
What SAM can do with an 1800 potency weapon skill at i290

Our damage IS our raid utility 0.o
